Music Bank

Joslyn's Review

Music Bank currently lives in my three-disc CD player. I can start at disc 1, track 1 and let it play through until the last track of disc 3. I have not come across many albums that I want to sit through and listen to the entire track list. Every time I listen to MB I don't ever get the feeling like I want to skip around. I get a rush every time I listen to it. I can't say that for any other band. MB goes through the history of the band and lets those people that weren't old enough to experience the early days take a trip back to where the band began and its journey through the '90s. I would call their entire career a masterpiece. No other band will ever equal AiC.

Mauro's Review

Music Bank - the monumental opera of the band. This is a collection of greatest hits with several demos and never released songs. "Get Born Again" is the opener track: blowing atmosphere and foggy sound. "Died" is quite sad and it is the last howl of Layne Staley. When you see the Music Bank box you see the gloomy sound and the dark side of this band. When you put some of those CDs in the CD player you have the perception that those songs will live forever.
