I’ve worked with the band pretty much from day one; in the studio, on the road, and in their management office.
In that period of time I’ve done everything from babysitting Sean’s monkey to fedexing pickles to Jerry in Europe, along with writing for their fanclub mailer & website. I also burp them and change them from time to time, and occasionally rock them back to sleep when the tour bus hits a bump in the road.
On the road I’ve been Layne’s driver on the Van Halen tour, a production assistant, an assistant tour manager, a keyboard tech (on Jerry’s solo tour), and any other odd job that comes up or has the word assistant in the title.
I've always shot video and taken pictures along the way, and in 1999, I co-produced the "Music Bank" home video DVD, which used some of the footage I'd shot over the years.
I’ve also worked with Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, & Elton John, and every year I do production work for the Coachella Music & Arts Festival. I moved to New York in 2003 and worked in music publishing before Sean started calling me at work and tempting me with the offer of rejoining them in this new adventure.
I'm loyal like a dog, so here I am again...
