Ok, let me tell you how I heard about this - I have a friend working at the new Sprint Center, scored me some Van Halen tickets. I went to pick them up and asked her what else they had coming up...when she dumped the AiC/Cornell rumor on me. She said details were being finalized. To my knowledge she has nothing to do with the Uptown theatre and works directly for the Sprint Center so unless she was feeding me a line, it could be 2 different shows.

By the way, if you look at Cornell's tour dates he's in New Zealand and Austrailia the second half of October.  

Good point let's just end this rumour now, Chris Cornell is in Australia at the end of October. it would have been cool, but it doesn't look like this is going to happen. Who cares, Alice is why I'm going anyway.

Dude this sucks, not really, just for me...I 'm in Macon, Ga; going to see AIC on the 3rd, driving all the way down to Orlando on the 4th to see Megadeth. Now I'm going to have to take off work again the following week to drive down to Orlando again to see an AIC acoustic show? Don't think I won't do it.  Hell, life ain't a dress rehearsal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please, Please , Please do an acoustic show in Philly at the Tower Theater!!! That place has the best acoustics and viewpoints of any of the smaller venues...and the Philly Phamily would absolutely show their appreciation and then some!!!...Tower Theater in Philly!!!!!!!

I hope the Cain's Ballroom Acoustic Hour show was for real, I saw that earlier and I'm pretty much going if it is. I went last year and saw them play there, it was great.

I seen AIC last year at the same venue. It was hands down, the best show I have ever seen. Thanks so much for returning to KC.  I've checked the tour calander every day for the last few months hoping for this and last night I the DIRT email about KC presale tickets. I really hope they do an acoustic show in NYC.  After all that's where the legendary 1996 acoustic show was.

Smashing Pumpkins just added a 4th show at the historic Tower Theater in Philly because they sold out 3 shows already...If David Bowie can record his live album there, as well as Kansas, David Crosby, and Jethro Tull, how about an AIC live album/DVD?!?! The Uptown Theater in KC is an awsome place to catch a concert like this one!  It's gonna be great!!!!!  It's right close to the party district too!  

Went to the AIC/Velvet show lastnight at Coors ampitheater. I was scepticle of the new guy, but the show brought tears to my eyes. Any die-hard AIC fan who was there, you know what I'm sayin.

Hey guys, I am so excited about the concert, does anyone know details about uptown.
For instance i was bummed when i saw there is no smoking aloud in the building, do they actually in force this or do people still smoke inside? Also i was wondering how early a person should go if they wanted to get in the front row, and one more thing can anyone tell me details about tickets, like where are they cheapest, and how fast do i need to purchase them:?
