Wow, I came over to see if anyone posted a review to Sunday's show at Clark County & ended up with more tix to see Alice! Thanks! This'll be my third time in two years & I can't wait!!

Bought 2 tickets WITH the dinner! Woo Hoo!! This is #3 AIC for myself and  I can't wait either!!! I'm like a kid at X-mas again...

This show just sounds too big to miss AND it benefits multiple worthy charitable causes right in their hometown. This is HUUUUUGE!!!

Man just saw these guys in vancouver this is my 4th time and this will probley be a epic show cant wait well worth the money

I just stopped by to check out the notice on this site and I'm psyched to see some of you coming to this concert.  It's about 1 AM and I'm currently writing the orchestration for "I Stay Away."  I have a 125 member girlchoir that I'm writing to go in and out of the piece to be hopefully haunting and beautiful at the same time.  Im not going to give away what the other songs are that we are doing, but I can say it's going to sound BIG.  Then again an orchestra and choir behind them will have that effect.  

Just thought I'd drop in a note from the composer.

You lucky Seattle fans! I agree that they should make a DVD of this event. The harmony between William and Jerry and all the music will be so great. I am sorry I don't live closer. I would definitely be there!

Guys, please, please, PLEASE put this out on CD and DVD! I would kill to hear this show and am even considering a cross-country flight just to be able to. Since William's got some good guitar chops, how about Whale and Wasp? You know you want to. :-)

Just got my tickets, I'm stoked.  I just saw AIC less than a week ago and need to see them again.  Plus it is for a good cause, so I can act like a good person, rather than someone who needs his AIC fix!

they filmed the last show in seattle last year at the paramount and i still havent seen it or heard of it anywhere.suckey,but this is gonna be my 6th time seeing them and im fuckin pumped!!!! super cool that is for a good cause as well.ive got great seats kids,hope to see ya there.

Saw AIC at the Gorge, but surely did NOT get enough of them!  I ran across the charity show details today, and called to buy tix IMMEDIATELY!  STOKED!!!!!

I think it's time for a trip home!  (I don't have to tell my family I'm in town...)

I checked out the website, and the "legacy dinner" thing sounds great, but I couldn't get any info on it (pricing, minimum # of people, etc.), so hopefully they will e-mail me back quickly.  The thought of seeing two of my all time favorites (i.e. AIC and Heart) together (and no, not just on VH! Rock Honors) is more than I can bear!  I don't think I will be able to get any work done for the next month!

Hello Okaicfan -- how did you score the dinner tix?  The best I could do (with two seats together) was 2nd tier box, which isn't awful, but I would have paid big bucks for what you got.  IF ANYONE is interested in selling two dinner tix (or even two orchestra level tix) that are together, please let me know.  I am going to  be happy, even with my 2nd tier box tix, but I would really dig the whole dinner/silent auction thing, and it's for such worthy causes, especially Children's Hospital

I wonder how they will play at Benaroya along with the orchestra, I mean the hardcore rock music would kind of clash with the light, pretty, gentle orchestra. They will probably play an acoustic show.

Well, this will be the most amazing thing since, well, Dirt I would have to say.
to be able to live in Seattle, walk the streets downtown at night and bump into Jerry and Sean, actually have a small chat with them, then on my way, granted this was years ago, but still the memory remains.....
Seen AIC about 10 times or so throughout the years all over the place and to be able to go to a beautiful venue, see Ann and Nancy with Chains and the SSO gives me goose bumps just to think about this!! Coming up on a week now and I can hardly contain myself, I was very skeptical about Wiliam but after the Gorge, I was SOLD!!
This is going to be an amazing evening and what better than unplugged chains with Ann and Nancy righ in my backyard. Truly a gift from above, we all miss Layne and we wish he was here but this should be a perfect sign that he is not forgotten!!!

I nearly flipped when I saw several months ago that we'd be singing with Alice in Chains.  I'm in Northwest Girchoir, and this was one of the strangest choral experiences of my life.  Rarely do I feel like singing in choir and head-banging at the same time.

To the band, thank you so much for everything.  This has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience.  Thank you especially for making Johanna Svensson's, Claire Webber's, and my night by waiting around and making sure we could get a picture.  We were shaking with disbelief that you made it happen.

You and Heart rocked.

This was great, the whole concert, although I was hoping that everyone would play together for the finale. Still, the finale was AiC covering Zep's Kashmir, backed by the Northwest Girlchoir (you go, girls!!) and the Northwest Symphony Orchestra. It was beyond excellent. Thank you Matt for pulling so many fantastic performers together.

There is going to be a dvd of the whole concert available from www.thesymphonyguild.org for a donation of $25.

For all of you who question the ability of some kick-ass rock to blend harmoniously with a girls choir and full on Orchestra, let me just say this..........music is a language. And any musician worth his/her salt, regardless of genre GETS that.  While it may seem an unlikely marriage at first blush, let me say I have never been lifted from my seat, feeling the music in every cell of my being like I did at Benaroya on Friday night. When Kashmir was in full swing, with that Orchestra and Girls' Choir........well, words escape me. My advice is, if you want to see - and feel it to your marrow - GET YOUR TICKETS EARLY FOR NEXT YEAR!
And William - thanks for letting me steal a pic with you - you are my new screensaver!!! You guys were AMAZING!!!!

Sorry to be the schnicklefritz, but the girlchoir wasn't singing Kashmir.  We were told to stand on stage awkwardly through the song.  We did, however, sing back-up for Whale and Wasp, I Stay Away, and others.
A giant thank you to all the other performing groups and to Matt Messina, the man who makes it all happen.
I second the advice to get tickets early for next year's performance.  Tickets sold out this year.
