Re-Evolution Stop in Irvine, CA - CANCELLED

Due to the wildfires in Orange County the gig in Irvine, CA on Friday, October 26 has been canceled. Re-Evolution Tour ticket holders for this show should wait for further instructions as there is talk of rescheduling the gig.

The AliceInChains.com team is sorry to be the bearer of bad news and we hope that our fellow friends and fans stay safe from harm's way.

So we pick a great venue and Friday tickets with great seats. Now we have to take off work early to get to L.A. How does it work with the seating arrangements. Why cant it still be at Verizon when the smoke clears. Dont mean to sound so negative. Am still looking forward to AIC again.

Maybe they will play extra due to the fires. I have seen them two other times and it will be worth the wait.

Hey Jerry! Make sure you play: Dirt, Junkhead and Nutshell.

People, people, people!!!  Let's be a bit patient and concerned here! Where's your hearts and compassion?  Maybe you all don't own homes that are at risk or have been totally lost!   Let's just be glad the gig is being rescheduled, and you all will get to experience AiC after a bit of a wait (no, December isn't that far away!).  It's just an inconvenience, but not a total loss.  Let's be real here!   Hopefully, none of the band's or crew's homes were affected by this tragedy.  Maybe AiC.com can post something for the fans that all is well with their property (it would be horrible if any of their homes burned while on the road!).

First, let me just say that I hope everyone's ok and safe from this b.s.  I knew right away that this was going to happen but wished I would have found out earlier instead of the morning of the show.  I live 10 min. from the VA as well.  They should just move the show to Vegas b/c getting from here to LA on a wed. is gonna take about THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME!!  See everyone on the 12th.

Shit, I wish they would have announced it earlier than the night before. But you guys still rock, by the way. And it's not like you can control fire week. At least Vegoose is still going on...though i'd rather see Alice anyday.

I hope the fires are over soon and people can start rebuilding their lives again. I can't imagine losing EVERYTHING (although I lost a lot) I worked my whole life for. It will take many years if not decades to rebuild, and get some of the vegetation back.
I know everyone has been waiting along time to see Alice In Chains, but they are worth the wait.I saw them in Vegas 3 times this year, and I'll go again if they come back.
I just think when 500,000 people are displaced , thousands of homes are burned, and if I'm not mistaken they are looking for bodies in some areas - some consideration can be expected. I can't imagine being in that area and not being effected by it. I understand needing a break from my life, I need a break from my job where I am over stressed and under paid, and my house mates are rude inconsiderate mother fuckers (one is cool)- so I NEED to get out, but I'm sure the people in the burned out areas are a hell of a lot worse off then me.

Saw them Thursday in Vegas and it frikin ROCKED. the acoustic show was great. band sounded awesome. They were at the KORN show the night before mingling with the crowd in the balcony. Wonder if they stayed for Fridays special KISS show at Mandalay Bay? Anyway, if you get the chance to see the acoustic performance, GO!.

My friends and I were very disappointed to here the AIC gig was canceled.
This was going to be my 3rd time seeing them. I seen the open for GnR @ huyndai pavillion
also Headline @ The Wiltern Theatre where they really kicked major ass in that small place.
I think it will be a better show at the Gibson  because it is a smaller venue and the sound should be great. Ive been going to Verizon for a lot of years and lately it has sucked with cops harrasing in the parking lot. Cant wait for AIC to Rock again!
