Godspeed, Ben Scott McMillan

April 1, 1961 - January 6, 2008

The surviving members of Gruntruck are saddened by the loss of singer Ben McMillan. Ben was taken from us on January 25, after a long battle with diabetes. He was 46 years old.

We will gather to remember Ben on March 8th in Seattle.

A lineup of live music begins at 10pm. Ben's friends Slippage, Kandy Koded and Coffin Break will perform in his honor.

A slide and video display of Ben's life, art and music will run throughout the evening.

The King Cobra club has graciously provided space for this event at 916 E. Pike, Seattle. Doors open at 9pm. A $10 donation will go to assist Ben's family.

A big thank you to everyone who has written in with kind words and offers to help. The outpouring of support has been truly wonderful.

I feel really weird writing about taking up a whole thread for myself. Can't we just all blog in the same thread. 

I am not really that entertaining!!! 

I have to find a new job on Monday! I have my first photoshoot on Saturday...

and I went out on a date Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday with different guys that I have no interest in...Unless they have red flag written all over them, I just seem to get pretty uninterested quickly.  

Actually kind of interested in my boss' son Matt who has taken me out three times but is moving back to Jacksonville Friday and err may or may not have a kid on the way with his ex...which I didn't know about until yesterday. (I went back to his house to play Wii after our first date and he put on AIC without knowing I liked them....after that I was done for...which probably explains how the other chick got pregnant in the first place. (Even with AIC on the tunes, I still didn't get laid!!! (By choice.)

Andrew picked me up on his motorcycle. I've never ridden one and actually it made my shit completely fall asleep, which made walking almost unbearable for the first 20 mins off the bike..which means...oh wait.....still not getting laid.

It's 5am and I have to work in the morning....write more later...
