therooster:I'm telling you, I saw Steppenwolf(of all the bands I thought i'd never get to see) a few years ago. they must have all been approaching 70 and they kicked ass! I've seen many young groups that couldn't hold a candle to Jerry and the boys. I have seen their last two tours with William, and they were terrific, and judging by the huge audiences reaction, they agreed. They blew Velvet revolver off the stage, and, I think, lead to their demise! (Not to mention Scott's continuing addition problems!). Anyway, I hope they take their time and do a terrific job with the new music, and I sure can't wait until it comes out! Mike
Absolutely man, I saw them in detroit last year, and Alice owned VR. The crowd was way more into AIC. I am a huge fan of STP and the real GNR, but they can't touch Alice in Chains! My girlfriend was at the show also, and she is not really a fan of our kind of music let alone either band, but she agreed that AIC blew Velvet Revolver away!
