Yeah, "Roads" is awesome. Too bad it's only like 2.5 minutes long. I wish Opeth & Type O would do more together. That Roadrunner CD isn't too bad. I mean, it's pretty bad, but the King Diamond track and the Peter Steele ones are pretty good. I don't know that I'd recommend the CD itself.

Will not listen to leaked tracks. I'll wait.

Yeah, I'm waiting til I have the cd in hand to listen to them. Also, The End Records has a preorder of Watershed autographed, along with a poster. This includes the regular version, the special version, vinyl, and a package of special and vinyl.

Why are they selling through The End? I guess because it's all importish and stuff. Also, do not want vinyl (but must buy for bonus trax). Also...geez there's like 10 different versions available. But that's good, because now I won't have to buy the album, and then have the special edition come out two months later and have to buy that too.

I see a definite Steven Wilson influence in this album. And I don't mean the music.

heard the leaked songs really good. in one of them(Cant remeber the names) cleaning singing vocals over death metal blast beats. nice!!!

Roadrunner has offically released "The Lotus Eater". I'm tempted to listen but I'll just wait til I get the cd or hear that or another new song May 20th when I see them. I might end up downloading a torrent of the cd the day it comes out, as I preordered mine and my luck it will take 10 days to receive after the release date.

I decided to listen to the leaked version. I'll still pick up the special ed cd though. I'd listened to Lotus Eater and not like it before but this time around I like it more definitely. There's a very cool opener w/ a suprise in vox toward the end. While all the Opeth type stuff from the past is there, they definitely take afew risks and there is definite progress. Prog elements are more plentiful this time around. The drum sound is....different. I like it thus far though. Very solid album if you ask me.

The Opeth show last night was fucking sick, as expected. They only played 6 songs, but thats better than none. I'm pissed we didn't get Serenity Painted Death, but hearing Wreath live was cool. Didn't expect to hear 2 songs from Delieverence. Heir Apparent sounded pretty good, as it was the first time I've heard it. Mike was in his usual mood joking between songs. I was surprised to see how strange Mendez looks really with short hair. All in all, they played really well and I left happy. I just wish they played something other then The Drapery Falls as a closer. The only bad part were these young kids to the right of me acting really gay during Opeth's set, like by saying "Fuck yeah Mike" after almost everything he said.
