......this topic is getting rehashed over in the News section's comments......& since I already talk over there to much as it is, I'll drop this off in here....
As much as they are rock gods in our eyes, they aren't in a position to piss off anyone anywhere.......especially at the moment (so early)....yes, there are always going to be people whining about something, that's a given, can't give everyone their way all the time......and as much as I wholeheartedly agree they have earned their "elusiveness" by what they have given in the past, they do have something to prove in the future......it's a new age now, the internet has changed the way people connect, how they get their information, sometimes how their opinions are formed, and how they decide to buy/listen to music ~ it does cost money, but vs the huge pr expenses (it takes otherwise) it's still the cheapest & farthest reaching bang for their buck......AIC (bandmembers) needs to move into the future by putting some of this to work FOR them ~ it takes very little time to video a mini interview, one that is open for all to see & not just a select few.......
I'm impressed at the activity of the admin/mods here....the constant flow of revisions/additions.....looks lived in, looks like there's things going on.....(it might have been smarter to finish the current revamping-corrections before sending out the newsletter, tho).. ...& they should also be providing feedback to the band/management regarding the response ~ I just hope they make a point of passing along some of the feelings out there......(both good & bad).......
