    San Jose Sharks

Today we broke the franchise record with our 9th straight victory so I figure they now deserve their own thread.

Minnesota played us tough today. Thank God we got an early 2 goal lead.

    9 straight baby!!!!

    Watch out Dallas and Detroit!

    We are coming after you!

    Go Sharks!!

    Number 1 ranked on Yahoo!

Cheecho is finally scoring and people are starting to take notice that the Sharks could win it all.

    At Nashville tonight!

I like the Pred's but I hope they go down tonight.

    Go Sharks!

    Re: San Jose Sharks

    Ten in a row baby!

Now we are home for 5 out of the next 6.

We moved up to second in the conference which would make life much easier come playoff time and we have two games at hand on Dallas meaning we have a good shot of winning our division and staying in that 2 spot.

Nabbie got his 40th win of the season.

We've had two winning streaks of 8 games or better on the road which is an NHL record.

We scored first in 17 straight games which is a NHL record....

...and we are just starting to click.

    Watch out for the Sharks!

Mad props to the Predators and their Goalie (Ellis) who we pummeled with shots on Tuesday. I think in the second period we outshot them 23-1 or something like that.

Also big props to the guy on Nashville who dove into the goal to stop the point blank shot from Pavelski (which he ended up scoring on seconds later because he was cross checked in the back and his knee pushed the puck into the net) That was a sweet play!

and Tootoo might be my least favorite player EVER. The guy flops like a fish and he's a whinny brat.

    Trade that bum Nashville!

    Wow!

I had a feeling we'd have a let down tonight being back at home against the horrible St. Louis Blues but boy was I wrong.

We scored 4 goals in the first 13 minutes and it could be 8-0 if the goalie for STL wasn't playing fantastic.

Now lets keep the Nabbie shut out intact.

    c ya!

    Re: San Jose Sharks

    Wow!

Outside of early round Olympic games, last nights game was probably the most dominating performance I've ever sen out of ANY team EVER.

and that performance came from our beloved Sharks and they did that to the defending champs who have owned us for years.

Anaheim only got 5 shots in the second period and got ZERO shots in the third.
    It was a total annihilation.

Not only are we peaking at the right time but also the true beauty in all of this is that we only need 1 point to clinch the 2 seed which means more than likely Anahiem and Dallas will be seeded 4 and 5 meaning they play each other in the first round. Then the winner of that series has to play Detriot.

To make a long story short this is the best scenario imaginable for the Sharks because we'll only have to play 1 of the 3 teams that usually own us when the playoffs come.

We can play Vancouver or maybe Edmonton in round 1 then Minnesota in round 2 and then 1 of our thorns in the western conference finals.

Kudo's to the Anahiem goalie last night who played out of his mind stopping over 40 shots.

And who said Jeremy Roenick is washed up?

He's had 11 game winning goals this year.

    Go Shark's!

    Re: San Jose Sharks

34 points out the last 36.

We haven't lost a game in regulation since February 20th.

It doesn't get much better than that.

We got one of our top dogs (Ryane Clowe) back tonight and he got an assist 12 seconds into the game.

Joe Thornton has GOT to be league MVP this year regardless of what happens in the playoffs. If he doesn't get it Nabby should. You can't give it to Ovechkin if the Cap's don't make the playoffs.

Playoff tickets go on sale tomorrow!

    Go Shark's!

    Re: San Jose Sharks

I'M EXCITED TO SAY THAT LINDSEY AND I GOT OUR SEASON TICKETS FOR NEXT SEASON!!!!

    WE'RE SOOOOOOOOOOOO  FUGGIN STOKED!!!!!

and to make it even better with the season tickets means we also have playoff tickets for this season.

We'll be in the tank tonight baby!!!

Don Cherry predicted the Shark's winning the cup this year. I don't want to go that far and jinx my boys but damn they have the perfect team for winning it all, a sick goalie, discipline, speed, balanced scoring and strong D.

     GO SHARKS !!!!!!!!!!

Well, the Caps performed a miracle and made the playoffs so I'd say they have to give Ovechkin the MVP award.

I can't believe Carolina choked like they did.
    Wow...what a collapse.

One word to describe the game tonight......

    MELTDOWN

It wouldn' have been so bad had we not witnessed it in person.

OMG....How can you come out flat with a 2-1 lead going into the third period when you're already down a game in the second round.

    Totally embarrassing.
