I still think that "Bleed the Freak" is such an under rated song from this album, I love it and have it in my all time top 5 along with "Would?", "Down in a Hole", "Nutshell" and "Angry Chair" Great album, Layne's voice is sooooo powerful, Jeryy is a guitar wizard and the rhythm section is super tight. Cheers Steve

This is the one that started it all. I had never heard hard rock guys using harmonies like Layne and Jerry before. It was so eerie when they combined their voices! I did not realize until later on that they sang together a lot more than what I had originally thought. There is not a bad song on this record!! Sea Of Sorrow, the third song on this release, is what really drew me to them as a band. I had heard Man In The Box before, but when I heard this album in its entirety, I knew I would be a fan for as long as these guys were around!! A stellar first effort for ANY band. My god, what an epic album: Love, Hate Love, Sunshine, Sea of Sorrow, Man In the Box, Bleed the Freak, god what a great album. EDIT: I forgot I Can't Remember! I love the vocals in that song.
