    I didn't look too far, but it looks like he has until May 28th to serve an 8-day jail sentence.

    I guess you haven't heard that Scott Weiland was arrested yet again for DUI the other day (before that performance). I think their tour has been canceled.

     this would be news to me.  i'm frequently on belowempty.com and those guys havent said nothing about some new DUI.  the only DUI thats ever been spoken of is the one from last year.  he went to court last week and was sentenced, but i havent heard of a new DUI?  you probally want to get your facts straight before defaming someone.

    It's impossible to defame Scott Weiland. He takes care of that well enough on his own.

    But yeah, the current sentence is for the arrest in November. It's good to see they planned the tour to sync up perfectly with the jail time. Rolling Eyes

    I am in no way defending Scott, but the tour dates were announced before he was actually sentenced.

    I really wish he would get his head screwed on straight. There's so much more he could accomplish if he would just get focused.

    Scott is human. I'd say he's accomplished a lot more than many who DON'T have a drug/alcohol problem.

    I got tix for Mansfield MA this AM, can't wait, they are playing w/Everlast, Pennywise, Filter and TBA.  Nice.

    I just got tickets too and cannot wait!  I'm really looking forward to checking out Filter too I've never seen them and love their music!   I'm sure it'll be an awesome show!Yes

    Former Velvet Revolver singer Scott Weiland was released from a Van Nuys, Calif., jail Monday evening – less than 10 hours after he turned himself in to police following his DUI conviction.

    Weiland, 40, who had been sentenced to serve eight days in jail for the offense – his second DUI – after pleading no contest following a Nov. 11 arrest, was allowed to leave the jail at 6:54 p.m. Monday, according to the L.A. County Sheriff's Web site.

    He had surrendered at 8:55 that morning.

    As part of his sentence, Weiland is also required to complete an 18-month alcohol education class and pay nearly $2,000 in fines.
