But you ladies can chose to do what you want. i'm just saying for myself i think he deserves to be repsected as a person and not just as a rockstar. though he may never come in here if we really do care at all about him as a person we should just be more respectable to his feelings just in case we do wierd him out. hahahaha. so that's all. no one is a piece of meat. and noone deserves to feel liek just cause they are inthe public eye we can say what ever we want. even if it is just that we want to all have a wonderful night with him. so i'm not a mod and i'm not jerry.

 but i just think posting pics of his private part and his body then saying what ever we want is just not nice at all. though we didn't mean it in that way. it's still not right. i hate getting all serious. and no fun right now. but i honestly do feel bad about it. and maybe jerry doesnt even give two shits bout this at all. which i know he doesnt. but that's not the point. the point is he is a person too and deserves to be treated in a more respectable way.especially on his own board.  i know i'd be furious if i knew there were those pics of me in here and everyone gocking at em saying what ever they damn please.

 it's just not right in myeyes. at one time it was and i thought it was cool cause stuff was never deleted i thought. ok he likes it probabl. but now i feel no, maybe he's never even known. and not only taht but maybe he just doesn't want to ruin our fun. so i'll ruin it for him. hahahaha. no, you girls do what you want. i can only speak for myself. i think jerry must be a wonderful man and i wish i had the chance to know him first hand. but now maybe we should just chill out a little and watch that what ever we are posting in here is something that would be suitable to be said to yourself if the shoe was on the other foot. that's all. and jerry though you never read this. i hope it gets back to you. i am sorry if i ever made you feel like you were just a piece of meat. those were not my intentions. and i hope that one day jerry truly meets someone who will love him for who he is as a person. and he will have much happiness.  peace...

 

LOL, one hundred & sixty seven pages until the guilt attack hit......Jerry has a warped sense of humor, always has, and he jokes quicker than most people around him (Sean being the only exception).....as long as it is SAID and not acted on, then it's a different story ~ it stays a funny (sometimes bizarre) compliment......don't forget, Jerry posed for the banner pix, and ok'd it to be posted ~ he knew full well what the response would be .....but the flip side of his public personality that needs to be accepted & paid attention to, is the shy quiet personality that will blush upon hearing some things, & every male has an ego, so I think two personality traits might over rule the one that's less loud ......He may be blushing, but it also made his male confidence rise, no pun intended ~ especially at his age........

I'm sure there was a time or two in his life that he has turned the tables on how he acts toward/speaks about women just like this.....and thruout his career, all along, he's had lusting women to deal with ~ it's part of being a rockstar......it comes with the fame & music & lifestyle......I'm sure he's figured out how to deal with it by now  ......he'd probably worry more if nothing was said, than what is said.......

Thanks for clearing that up Nature. and i'm sure this thread is least on his mind of things. but still feel out of respect for him as a person. i will no longer post those pics of his anaconda or any of that. i will still post pics but just won't say what i want. Lynda, darlin' ,I read your post. and agree with you in part.As one who has made many a pretty blue posting here, I fully sympathize with the uncomfortable feeling that Jerry may(or may not-based on his sense of the absurd) be having, and apologize for ANY role I may have had in bringing such feelings about. I am very sure that each person who posts here wishes nothing more than the greatest of blessings and good fortune to be for Our Mr.Cantrell. We,not in any way,shape or manner wish, by our postings here, to demean, dismiss or diminish his talents.We find him to be a brilliant musician,prolific and powerful lyricist, and respect and praise him most highly in those repects.  

We live in a society that for a very long time, and still does, tell women that their innermost thought, be they sexual or whatever was (and is)wrong to express. What we have here on this thread is a cadre of women who are aware and very much in syncopation of their sexuality,sensuality and erotic thoughts, and, I'm sure much to Jerry's dismay, in our commonality, have directed a great deal of it in our musings toward him.  I, personally, am very phallus oriented(which should make the guys who post here very happy, I hope) and have found the guitar to be the ultimate symbol of the phallus. So do most men, which is why it's a male dominated instrument. I'm sure the symbolism hasn't escaped Jerry. It may be (unconciously)one of the reasons it was chosen as his instrument,besides being so GOD-DAMNED GOOD at it. Add the sensuality,sexuality and pure passion of Rock&Roll, and you create a symbol of sex and sexual thought, however inadverdant the intention may/may not be.

That said, with the combination of talent, looks(Darlin', he's a dyme piece, I'm sorry) ,that aforementioned SSP that makes Rock & Roll burn hotter than the Sun and flare brighter than St. Elmo's Fire,and a pair of well constructed and conveniently placed leather pants, and that dang guitar,placed ever so strategically,and you have one Jerry Cantrell,us and this thread. 

When I initially posted here, it was fully with the intention of relating thoughts and exchanging of them, however absurd,and sometimes profound, with others who had the same thoughts. We do, however, in those thoughts,can sometimes become careless. I'm sure none of us here intended to dehumanize or objectify Jerry in any way other than his being the catalyst of some very provocative(and yes,sometime soft-porn)thoughts, partly based on imagery,the remainder, assumption . With Jerry being in the industry he's in, I'm sure that this isn't new to him at all that women feel in the manner that they do, and has benefitted quite well( I'm assuming)from those attitudes.If not, call me!

Am I prepared to retract anything I've said, No,and I don't think any of us should, knowing the full intent of what and why you may have posted. Should we stop? Again, No. For some, this has been a great place to vent, and confide in an arena where there is a solid sense of Female camaraderie.Should we be more sensitive? Yes-to a degree.While we feel that we can say all that we wish to and about those in the Public spotlight, their feelings are not Public Domain. What is said, may need a  self imposed filter, myself included.  However, take into account that since I am a writer, I can be an irreverent and one downright witty cow. LMAO Nature!  You're absolutely correct!  We've all had great fun, found an outlet to express our shared desires for a very gifted man, support for one another in times of need, and formed virtual friendships by the (now) many pages of this thread.  While I do totally respect Jerry as a human being (and the wonderful, talented human being that he is), I agree with Nature that Jerry would probably worry more if "no one cared and no one said anything."  He is probably more flattered by all this than anything.  (BTW, that is adorable that he blushes!).  So let's keep the spirit and admiration for Jerry that started this thing to begin with. 

I've said it before (somewhere in these many pages) and I'll say it again, I am grateful to have come to know such well written, articulate, and expressive women as you all are. I agree with Ari, Jerry has got to be quite pleased that such intelligent woman have so much appreciation for him.

sorry, been away for a while...it's happening too much for my liking lately... 

so, the quarrel's over? (if we want to call it like that) i'm a little bit late but i'd like to say something as well.

i'm not gonna say something new, of course, but i personally never think (or thought) of jerry as a ''piece of meat''. to me he's a brilliant man, a wonderful guitarist, an extremely talented lyricist (sometimes the appropriate word should be poet) who touched my soul like no other human being ever did way before casting a spell on my eyes. the first time i ran into alice i didn't even know a single face, yet they caught me, just with the lyrics and the music...how can you possibly not being grabbed by ''down in a hole''??? especially the unplugged version??? anyway, this gorgeous artist, who has his strengths and weaknesses for sure just like everybody else, happens to be also A HANDSOME MAN, probably THE SEXIEST MAN ON EARTH...how could we ignore that??? how could we not have red-hot thoughts about him??? as long as we keep them in a funny way, knowing that reality is something totally different, how could we do any harm? besides, as naturegirl suggested, we're like a continuos gratification for his manhood...which shouldn't be that bad...  for all i remember, none of us has ever crossed the line, not in a nasty way at least. besides, as lynda said about herself, i'm so damn shy too...i would never be able to say something out of line to him...providing that i wouldn't faint first and would be able to pronounce at least one word if i ever saw him!

btw, about jerry's tattoos, i think that the ones on his legs are sort of monsters...actually, the one you can see on his left leg seems the monster guns n roses used to show at their concerts back in the early '90's, only that one was red and this one is green. let's see if a can find a picture of that... ok, i found the drawing,  which was supposed to be the original cover of the ''appetite for destruction'' album. during their concerts all over the world, they used to have a huge reproduction of that!

Happy Saturday!   It's rainy and miserable here in Boston today - what a way to start the weekend... Trying to read the last few pages of this post and catch up on things.  Just wanted to say that I really don't think that Jerry would be reading this post thinking that he's just a piece of meat to us.  I agree somewhat with Lynda about perhaps being a little more respectable to him (if that's possible).  But I seriously think that he would get a laugh out of some of this stuff posted.  I for one would never in a million years say to him anything obscene that's in this dirty little mind of mine - I'm also way to shy for that!  But there's no harm thinking it and sharing it with you ladies.   I feel pretty comfortable in voicing my opinion here and I think we've gotten to know one another a little better because of some of the craziness.  So how can that be such a bad thing?!?  Well have an awesome weekend ladies - I'm off!   <<mwah>>
