Actually, I really don't care too much for anything after _In Absentia_. I mean, it's ok, but IA and everything before it is great. Well, excluding _On the Sunday of Life_ and _Metanoia_ which are fair to ok.

I like the cds after, although they are different, I still do listen to them a lot. I know Deadwing has a few songs that are so-so, although the last half of the disc is wonderful imo. FoABP grew on me, with Way out of Here being my fav track. These songs live do kick ass however. As to everything before IA being great, I'll have to argree with you on that, including the statement you made about OTSOF and Metanoia. UtD through IA are untouchable.

I actually just kind of rediscovered _Up the Downstair_. That album is so good.
I'm really just waiting for the _Lightbulb Sun_ reissue so I can finally own that album.

I preordered my copy of Lightbulb Sun the other day. I got one off Ebay over a year ago but it was counterfeit Angry. At least I only paid $20 for it, as the real ones are around $100 nowadays.

Up the Downstair = \m/. Synesthesia is one of my favorite songs, and Fadeaway is just beautiful

    Bloodbath - Unblessing the Putiry

Brutal as fuck, with Mikael's most evil vocals to date. Different then Resurrection through Carnage, but I like it a lot.

    Breaking Benjamin - Phobia

    Yes

I don't know why I like this band so much, but I do.

The new REM disc. Very much a return to form.

Zeppelin - Houses Of The Holy (what an album, from start to finish, has my favourite Zep songs too - D'yer Maker)

Dream Theater - Train Of Thought

Oh dear. What a fantastic album. Actually has to be played through twice evey time I listen to it! La Brie's voice is actually bearable! Big Smile

    Meshuggah - Destroy Erase Improve

Got it on recomendation as I wanted to start listening to their stuff and I realy like this. The drumming is amazing.

    Morphine - The Best Of

Nuff said. Brilliant stuff...off the wall yet really warm. Great chill out music.

Next thing I need to get is some more Porcupine Tree!

Buy this! Now!! Seriously! its deadly!

Ick! Worst DT album. Although it is a good LaBrie album. It's not as good as Awake was for him though. Then he had to go and rupture his vocal cords.

I still like him on pretty much every album though.

Best LaBrie songs: Scarred, Learning to Live
