I went to the show in Providence last night, and I must say that Layne would have been proud! Nutshell brought tears, for sure, as well as the video clips and photo's of Layne. I wish they had played Over Now during their accoustic set, though. Everything they played was incredible! Great crowd and a great time. There were a few costumes, but not too many. How 'bout Captain Morgan crowd surfing! hahaha! Thanks WBRU for picking up my line when I was the 9th caller, and thanks AIC for bringing this tour to town!

The set list looks good except nutshell was not part of the acoustic set. They played it electric, and I cant remember if it was before or after the acoustic set. I think before. Anyways awesome show.

Re: Best A.I.C. show ever.....
Ever?!? San Diego shows were great! Props to the begining show but 1992 opening for Ozzy, that was the greatest show ever. Met WIlliam and jeery w/ his bro in Houston while they played the Engine Room. Layne was in rehab at the time. That was a great show, but not best ever. Anybody have any non-stock vintage pics from back in the day? Please post 'em

Re: Best A.I.C. show ever.....[Providence 10/31/06]
What an unbelievable show. I had just seen them in Albany on Sunday, so I thought Would? was definitely the last song. They just kept going and going, and I never expected to hear Dirt or Godsmack. The fact that they were filming for the DVD was also very cool. I was dead center, about 2 or 3 people back from the front, so hopefully I end up in some of the shots. Seeing Jerry solo at Lupo's was a wild show, but nothing compared to last night, I'm still pretty beat up from being up front, but AiC was amazing, so it was well worth it.

Re: Best A.I.C. show ever.....[Providence 10/31/06]
Thanks for posting that setlist, I was hoping someone would be keeping track. That was by far the best show I've seen on this tour. I saw them at the Avalon and then at Hampton Beach, which until tuesday was the best. I was absolutely blown away, my boyfriend and I got front row in front of Mike (we've somehow managed to do this at all 3 now:), and to make it even better one of his friends was part of the onstage taping. We got so many awesome pictures last night, and one of Jerry's guitar pics. It was just awesome:)

Re: Best A.I.C. show ever.....[Providence 10/31/06]
I knew that the show would be great but never this great. Did anybody know it was a dvd filming or did they not tell anybody. seeing that on the door while going in i knew that it would be even better than i though it would. The shows in Hapton Beach and Locobazooka were great but this blew them out of the water. props to Jerry, Sean, Mike, and Will for the best show of my life

Re: Best A.I.C. show ever.....[Providence 10/31/06]
I keep seeing different orders for their set list. I have Jerry's original set list from the show and I don't think even THAT one is in the order of the songs they played. If anyone want me to post the set list from the sheet, let me know. Got some great shots, here's a teaser:

Re: Best A.I.C. show ever.....
I still haven't been able to conjure up an adjective that does that performance justice. I got into these guys at the tender age of 12, and thirteen years later I finally get to see them live. Words just fail me. Two days later I'm STILL feeding on the energy from that gig.
Setlist was just awesome. Same exact set they've been playing up until Would? where they tacked those four extra songs on there. It was like they just didn't WANT to stop playing.
Crowd was just awesome...one of the best Lupo's crowds I've seen in over 100 shows at the old and newer buildings. Everyone singing EVERY word...lots of love.
And...we're gonna be on DVD!
