quick suggestion, not sure if it is just me but it took me forever to find the place to sign up for the discussion board.  I jumped right to the discussion board page and expected to find the sign up link and didn't.  Ended up going to the home page, and found it there, I think.  i'd suggest making a more prominent link on the discussion board page for registration.  also, you may want to consider ahving fewer sections of the board. Having so many different ones make it seem as if no one comes to the boards because messages are so spread out.
