Layne's tribute? I wanted to make it on 2008 but I'd need a hell of a lot of money! I'm so far away. So I might in 2009!! lol.

I did have some bad times on here a few months ago, when all the controversial threads were active.. and I thought about leaving several times, yet I always stuck around lol. I must say some of you guys here, if not most of you, are all very nice people. And I know we disagree on a very important subject, but at the end of the day we all listen to the same music. I wish I could connect with my "real life" friends when it comes to music too. I can only do it online, and not just with aic but with most bands  I like. =( But anyway, it is also cool that it's possible for people here to talk about several other things and the atmosphere in general is really good. I agree about the n00bs comment. On most big message boards, newbies get flamed or made fun of just because they're new to the site and the band. But I haven't seen that happen here, perhaps one time? lol.

So... I think I'll stick around for a long time. I'll be here to help keep Layne's memory alive.

It really feels necessary to come here and talk to people who love the band because you're right Creep, it just doesn't happen enough in real life.

And yes, all of you boardies rock!!!!!!! There is great respect and humor here when we avoid the controversial threads. I think the attitude of the band has a lot to do with the fans they attract. They're all awesome, goofy, down to earth guys who are passionate about their craft. Even with some money and success I feel like they kept their feet on the ground and that's saying a lot about what good people they are.

I feel the need to talk about the site and it's members, like the thing says, so be prepared for one of the few moments I'll won't be sarcastic. Everyone on here is amazing. Being on these boards, and talking to other people who like the same music as me... It's a really cool thing, since I don't get much of that in 'real life'. I mean, I look forward to logging on every night and getting to talk with everyone. I can't get over how awesome AiC's fans are, I guess they take after the band. Lame, eh? But it's true. Really weak following line, there, very unoriginal. Whatever... What I'm trying to get out is, this board is such an accepting place. Some forums, noobs get made fun of, and you get flamed off, or everyone is so insanely fake you can't take it for more than a few months. I didn't really think I was going to be on here very long, but then I started getting to know you, and... I saw it in one of the threads that some peoples' new year's resolutions were to stay off the boards more... Maybe it's just me and my lack of a life, but I'd like to be on more, this place is great.

I'm not a member on any other band board, but I'm sure this is the best one out there. Everyone here is real, has their own opinions, and are genuinely rockin people! xoxo to all of you!

You can find here friendship, advices (if you ask for some), interesting discussions, games and the sweet sensation to know somebody that you really don´t know  but who feels the same passion for this amazing band.
