Natasha-- Kaleb (my son) & I have always been close.  He's my best friend and we've had the best mother/son relationship that anyone could want.  I brought him up with music, my friends who were in groups as well as myself.  I never pushed him into it, he sort of fell into it at the age of 13.  I stand by him and encourage him/back him up with his dreams.  I didn't get that with my family, but I understand where he is at.  It's his dream to perform and I respect him.  It's mutual.  What's more, we rarely argue, we can sit and discuss anything without resentment or hostility.  Respect is cherished with us. 

Lizzie-- Thank you so much.  I joined late last year, but never wrote in here until a few weeks ago.  In fact, I hardly visited... When I join a group or chatroom, I usually have problems with people accepting me.  I like to make friends and adore meeting people who have similar interests.  AiC has been with my son and myself through the hardships we endured and my losses of my b/fs.  (deaths)  When I introduced myself, I figured I might as well say "back from a long rest or something to that effect."  lol I forgot what I wrote.  I really didn't know one person in here & wasn't sure how this would work. 

It's the first time I've had women accept me without more than one giving me grief for who I am or what I looked like or my opinions.  I like it in here and well, the other night I made a complete and total ass of myself... I am not a drinker and had some the other night and was hell bent on being miserable... I don't really care to go into details.  ty.  However, I feel like a first-rate heel for being so ignorant under the influence and getting online.  Biggg Mistake!  The feeling is like when you go to a dance and you think you look wonderful, but no one tells you your dress was tucked in your pantyhose and you wore granny panties.  lol  To boot, you think your smile was great, but no one told you you had spinach in your teeth and you grinned like a cheshire cat in front of the hunks of the world!  lol

Ok, not really the same, but you know what I mean? 

Jerry is a great guy, no doubt about that.  He made my day by watching us second row and threw two picks at my son.  Now that made a kid's day!  How can you NOT adore a man like that, I ask you?  *smiling*  I hope you all had a wonderful and safe 4th of July and all went well!!!  Our bbq was great and the fireworks were awesome!  I don't feel so hot today, but that's how it goes.

As for me... I've been having some totally weird shit going on and for some reason haven't been here at all for weeks and I've no explaination for it. I have been thinking of you all, hope you know that, I've myspaced most of you I know.  I might have some news for you, that I'm not allowed to share yet as stuff is in the pipeline so to speak, but believe me if it comes off it's gonna blow you all away!!!!

It's my birthday on Wednesday and whilst I'm not bothered about turning 33, I've got a melancholy about it.  I'm still not convinced about the decisions I've made over the past year. My behaviour is eratic and I'm drinking too much, all signs that something is up right?  I can't say I'm really unhappy cos I'm having experiences & opportunities that I'd never dreamed of before and these things are what is getting me through life. That and the support of my girls here, at LO and my real life Jerry's Angels!

I can't wait to hear Lynda's stories, I wonder if she'll touch the beard that she hates so much?

Fiii!! I'm so glad you checked in! We miss you! I'm sorry you're not in good spirits. Is there anyone you can con fide in to help you through it? Sometimes talking about it allows you to feel a weight being lifted off. Maybe the other person can assist you in getting a new perspective on things. If not, keeping a diary is another way to unload.    At times, I've kept things to myself, to the point where I was miserable. Once I opened up, I felt better.

  On a brighter note, I love fi's "birthday card" to Lynda. I think we'd all love to open it up!!

Fi! I love the calender idea! Count me in! I'm so excited, especially since I missed out on Jerry's birthday card :) 

And to answer your question, my 4th was so fun. The city shut down all the streets in Newport so we were all riding beach cruisers around to different house parties. It was total madness. I'm exhausted today though. On the bright side, I hooked up with an old boyfriend who is as close to Jerry's twin (long pretty blonde hair, sparkling blue eyes, same height, around the same age, no beard, though, lol) as I could hope to find here :) 

Lynda! Happy Birthday my friend! I hope you have the best time wherever you are and whatever you're doing! If you do hook up with Jer, tell him we all say hi too :)

i'm sorry to read u're having a shitty time! of course, i don't know the reasons, but i know how u can feel...at the end of the day, when it comes to feelings, we're all alike, aren't we? u're right: it's not a good sign drinking too much on a regular basis...it's like u anaesthetize urself so u can't feel what u don't want to feel. but there's no magic formula to heal one's soul that easy: everybody has their own pace and nobody can slow it down or speed it up but ourselves. so, as soon as u feel ready to really open up with urself, at first (know yourself ), and with the others, then, do it! as tash said, it's sooooooooo liberating! and, u know, when, and if, u want us to know, we'll be all here for u! for a laugh, a tear or whatever u want it to be!   you are one of the nicest persons i've ever met and i know you deserve all the best life can give u!

on a lighter subject, i'm up for everything! i'm such a bad-ass when it comes to jerry!    besides, i actually had a couple of ideas i'll share with u, sooner or later, about jerry's and baldy's xmas presents...is it too early to think about them???

Hello all.  first i want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LYNDA!!   mine is wednesday along with Fi, so were kinda birthday twins haha, of course she is alot younger.  I'll be spending it in Florida , i finally got a flight monday ,  so i havent seen my lil darlins yet ,   They went home last night , i hope everything is going okay ,,,   i was on the phone with my daughter and i heard her say to her friend which one do i have  ,  OH MY GOD !!  I  made them ity bity name bracelets and one for their older sister so maybe that will help with the confusion.   I will share some pics as soon as i get some ,   I really don't like the idea of flying ALL BY MYSELF  but i  have to get there ,  so just got to do it ..     Fi hope your feeling back to yourself soon .  Everyone have a great weekend .
