Hi girls!

I've been absent for a week or so and I'm just now catching up.  Too funny!!!!  I love reading this thread.

So, I was at a concert today (The Blackjacks, Finger 11, Chevelle, Seether, Live, Staind) and I saw a guy in the crowd who looked like a mini-Layne.  Ok, Layne Junior.  Anyhow, I strategically took his picture a few times!  LOL!  Is that obsessive or what?  Then, I got the nerve and just walked up to him and said, "Ok, I know you have to know that you've got a Layne-thing going on."  He said everyone tells him that.  So then, I said, "Ok, I've already embarrassed myself, so why not all the way?  Can I take your picture?"  He said, "Sure!"  And then, I went a step further and asked if I could take my picture with him.  LOL!  Of course he said that was NO PROBLEM.  And then he even hugged me afterwards.  Yeah, I'm crazy.  Anyhow, here's a couple of pics of Layne Junior.  Ok, he doesn't look *exactly* like him, but he's got it going...a very young Layne Junior.  I told him I may post them.  He didn't mind at all!  He was very flattered...

Ok, I promise this is my last post of the night!  (There's only 10 minutes left..hahaha).

If anyone is going to the LSF in August, I would so love to get a group together, see the sights, and maybe do a pilgrimage of sorts to AiC special places.  I've been to Seattle before, but it's been a few years.  If anyone's interested, or already has a group, please send me a note.  The more the merrier, right?

Re: Layne's accent sounding "country".  LOL!  I resemble that remark!  I've noticed it, too, and he sounds like where I live...in Virginia.

I went out with this guy who looked a lot like him, but darker very curly hair. He was a big Alice fan too - so he'd go through phases of wearing a bead on his goatee and even went through the "hippy Layne" phase....If I could be sure he isn't a member of this board (which I'm NOT!) I'd post a pic of him..

Oh he was just so wrong for me... treated me like crap basically, but man oh man he was hot. I’m not sure I’ve ever been as physically attracted to anyone as I was him….plus – he was a musician…I’m sure it was intentional (being an AIC fan) but he even looked like Layne with his facial expressions as he sung.

 

It’s really weird when that happens….you find someone so attractive you almost melt each time you see them, but you end up hating them as a person….

 

I’m glad we both moved on from each other, and I ended up with my beloved D. who is a far nicer person than the Layne-look-alike could ever have been.
