I didn't see these posted, but I've only made it halfway through the picture pages so far.  Someone on the findadeath.com forum posted these pictures of Layne's condo.  Forgive me if you've seen them.  Sometimes I wonder if I could get to Seattle and ask to see the condo.  I'm sure many a fan has tried that before with no success :(  I miss Layne so much.  I miss the early 90's Layne when he was so happy and healthy.  I wouldn't touch heroin if my life depended on it.  I think Layne would be glad to know that so many have learned from his tragedy.  Anyway, here are the pics. Hey Cupcake!  I've seen you a few times on this board and wanted to say hey :)   I've been having some Layne dreams lately,which prompted me to get on the boards and see what was up.  I think it's the top green one, but I'm not 100% sure.   There's a work conference in June that's taking place in Seattle and I thought about going just to stalk Layne's condo.  haha.  I had a thought that maybe I could pretend I was going to buy one and ask if I could tour it.  Then I thought....ok, that's being a bit crazy.   But can you imagine - driving by and seeing Layne out on his balcony smoking or something.  OMG I would have died.

haha. I wish my real name was Layne! My name is Elizabeth, but I go by Liz. Since there is already a Liz on here, I can go by Lizzie (which is my other nick name). I have dreams about him all the time. Let's see, the one I had night before last was that I had come into some house and Layne was there. I decided to tell him flat out that I was in love with him and that we should be together. He seemed to accept this and as I was with him, Demri's ghost showed up and was kindof mean. I was like, oh hell no. So I somehow got the ghost to go away and we were back. Then there was something about a pool and then it was over. Very weird. Another one I had was that Layne pulled up in a white camero (the year model that was in the transformers movie) or maybe it was a Trans-Am. I was listening to music with him. Another dream I had was that Layne and I were slow dancing outside of some club. I found an old abandoned place where they all used to party in Seattle, apparently. I had a dream inside the dream of Layne climbing up a ladder out of the most pit and reaching for me. How romantic was that. Then I go back to it being empty and trying to remember what was there. In the last part of the dream, Layne and I were driving in the car and we get in a wreck. (Sometimes I have scary dreams) Back when I was on a quest to find out everything I could about Demri, I had dreams about her. Once I dreamt that I was at a garage sale at her house and trying to find some of her clothes to see if there were any notes from Layne in the pockets. I'm retarded. Oh, and a quick question. Do you pronounce Demri with the accent on the first syllable or last? Like "Dem-ree" or "De Mree"?

Oh and one more thing.  I watched that damn video of the girl and Layne singing with Seventh Sign.  The one where he was on crutches.  I couldn't stand the way he was so close to her, that makes me so mad.  Isn't that pathetic of me?  I haven't even met him and of course, he's gone. 

 I do not think that is Demri, though.  She doesn't seem to have the same nose as Demri.  And if Demri could sing the way that lady does, I'm sure Layne would've gotten her a record deal or something....

I'm not really looking for an 'official' boyfriend. Just some good companionship you know? I'd like to focus on me and my goals for awhile. But he's a definately a kick ass dude. 

That dream is funny Lizzie. I had a Layne dream once. I won a contest on some radio show and I won a date with Layne. So he came to my house and he looked exactly as he does in that picture our illy just posted. Anyways, we just layed in bed listening to music and I got to play with that gorgeous hair. Then later we went to some horse track because for some reason Layne was really into gambling? It was a pretty random funny dream. But in it, Layne was really happy and he ended up really enjoying my company. I woke up that morning feeling very good.

Hi girls!

I've been absent for a week or so and I'm just now catching up.  Too funny!!!!  I love reading this thread.

So, I was at a concert today (The Blackjacks, Finger 11, Chevelle, Seether, Live, Staind) and I saw a guy in the crowd who looked like a mini-Layne.  Ok, Layne Junior.  Anyhow, I strategically took his picture a few times!  LOL!  Is that obsessive or what?  Then, I got the nerve and just walked up to him and said, "Ok, I know you have to know that you've got a Layne-thing going on."  He said everyone tells him that.  So then, I said, "Ok, I've already embarrassed myself, so why not all the way?  Can I take your picture?"  He said, "Sure!"  And then, I went a step further and asked if I could take my picture with him.  LOL!  Of course he said that was NO PROBLEM.  And then he even hugged me afterwards.  Yeah, I'm crazy.  Anyhow, here's a couple of pics of Layne Junior.  Ok, he doesn't look *exactly* like him, but he's got it going...a very young Layne Junior.  I told him I may post them.  He didn't mind at all!  He was very flattered...

 

That's my son, Thomas Layne!  That's right, Layne & I hooked up back in '91 when AIC was in Columbus.  He has his daddy's nose, my strong jaw & a mixture of both of our lips.  Everyone thinks Layne was hiding out those last few years of his life...he wasn't.  He was living with me in Ohio, helping me raise little Thomas.

Oh... The first time I saw the Seventsign video I was madly jealous!!! It's weird... I know, since I never knew him or had any kind of relationship.. But seeing him kinda flerting with the girl made me mad. hahaha It's was just some days ago that I watched it again... Still pissed though, but not that mad. Just a little jealous.

Oh believe me, I wish it were true too!  I've been around, just haven't posted much lately.  This is the one thread I do check on a daily basis though.  I need to make sure I don't miss out on any new pictures of my "baby daddy".
