I know! But sometimes on stage he'd sound a little southern, lol. In interviews his accent was similar to Kurts

    VioletSkies:
go to Youtube and watch part 1, let me know if its just me that likes the way he says brat. Oh, and Spaghettios are a good breakfast!

I like it when he says something like "changed my clothes, grown my hair, turned into a rock guy"..Sounds to me as if he was saying "gay" with an East London accent! I like his voice but not in the Unplugged, too nasal...

    Re: Memories of Layne

I have been watching a lot of Layne interviews on YouTube and I have noticed that every one of them has a comment under it saying "oh yea Layne looks like he is messed up in this interview" or something like that.  That is just sad, if he jokes around - he's messed up, if he is serious - he is messed up, if he doesn't say anything - he is messed up.  Holy cow, people just don't give the guy a break.

Layne meant so well by singing about the dangers of drugs.  Unfortunately, because he was so cool and his music was so cool, people just didn't listen to what he was saying.  They just wanted to be like him.  So sad that what ever he did, nothing could have defined him more than his drug use.  From what I have read about him, he was a funny, talented, sensitive guy who hated that part of himself.  Wow, if only we could push time back 5 years...

    Re: Memories of Layne

I know exactly what you mean.

I've had it with youtube people. THere's no point in trying to make them understand a thing about Layne. Not even in death people leave him alone.

Great vid, I commented on it! There are a few clips I'd never seen before. Here are some screen caps if someone can help me find the videos where they came from:

I think this might be a music video

I think the top one is from the Again video.  The others I have seen on the AIC tribute video but I don't know where they came from.

    Re: Memories of Layne

That video is a crack up Feefers! About time someone made a tribute video that was funny, since Layne had a great sense of humor.
