Re: Best A.I.C. show ever.....
Glad this thread is still going. I'm still buzzing about the show. I firmly believe that this is the best show I've ever seen, period. William was ON all night! Cantrell played his ass off. The acoustic set kicked my ass hard. I had no idea they were going to tape the show for a dvd. When it comes out, if there is a guy eating a hot dog in it, that's me. I had some fun with the camera waiting to get in.

I've seen them 10 times this year and hell yeah, Rhody blows the other shows away. The crowd, the set list. Amazing. I didn't know about the DVD until I got in there, and that was bad-ass. Hearing What the Hell Have I and God Smack was such a treat. They rocked and rocked HARD. RSP, it was awesome seeing you and getting to enjoy the show with you!

Re: Best A.I.C. show ever.....[Providence 10/31/06]
This review makes me even more ... disappointed ... in what I missed. I was right there too and missed the entire concert. I could not see ANY of the show. Lupo's sold so many tickets that if you were in the back you saw nothing unless you were lucky enough to know someone and stand on a table. The back of the audience floor is flat and higher then the stage. None of us in the back could see a thing. At this point in life, I was in no physical position to handle forcing my way into the front crowd to see them. This was my one chance to see AIC live and it was made impossible. Sorry for the negative - Nothing against AIC - Just the venue. I was REALLY looking forward to the night. Just very disappointed on how it turned out and wish it was held in a much bigger place so that all of us could watch a great band do a great show.

There was plenty of room where I was. I was behind the main crowd at the front of the stage. For a good hour, I was pretty much by myself. Where the floor started to level off, there was no one around. You should have tried moving a bit. It wasn't as crowded as you might have thought. I feel the smaller venue added to the show. I saw them earlier this summer in Mansfield and wasn't as impressed as in the smaller club.

i'm still jealous you got to all those shows. but yes, it was kickass
hanging out and ROCKING out with you. plus it gave me a legitimate
reason to move up closer to the stage since i saw you!! hahah
i'll be uploading my pics soon. i think your arm is in a few of them ;)

That's a goddamn shame, man. Sorry to hear. I tell you...my friends and I got there about an hour before doors, and we were around the corner as far as position in line. We had no trouble at all finding comfy spots on the edge of the first rise in the floor...just above the pit-area. Completely unobstructed view...great sound...and no meatheads to deal with. At my age, I'm just not interested in fucking around with pushing for a spot on the floor, so I like that Lupo's offers that spot. You should come join me there next show!
