Re: Where is the new music???

Long time "lurker" first time posting... It's funny I've had huge opinions on lot's of postings, been upset, angry and just plain dissapointed but never replied. Today excited to see something is going on as I'm so stoked for some new "heavy" stuff.

What a wonderful thing to come back to the boards (finally), and see that the new stuff is in the works...

That totally just makes my day better.

Something to look forward to is something that I can really use at this point, seeing as how AIC was able to help me get through tough times in my life, and seeing as I need that inspiration again, all I can say is the light at the end of the tunnel isn't a train.

RIFFS, RIFFS, AND MORE RIFFS! That's all I want. Rock music just doesn't seem to bother with them anymore. God knows why.

Yeah!   like the riff for "Died".   I mean those kind of Jerry riffs just make you want to go absolutely batsh*t crazy.

    FUCK YA!

We are getting a new ALICE record AND possible a new Rage, VR and STP record, too. All within the next 2 years! So much REAL music coming out!... I'm not a GnR fan, but then there's always that rumor, too.

But the Baldy has spoken! Alice is BACK with HEAVY ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hey, lililoveslayne!

We appreciate your feelings on this matter, but this thread is for talk of the new album which the guys are in the studio working on right now.

Please refer to this thread for 60+ pages of discussion on differing views of whether people agree with the band continuing on as Alice in Chains.

    Welcome to the board!

Re: Where is the new music???

I think William's voice suits the heavier material from the vids I have seen so I'm guessing they're taking a heavy direction to compliment that...
