with the injury to Yao what do you guys think the Rockets can get done?  mutombo is well rested, old, but well rested and should be good for 10 boards and 2 blocks but no scoring.

Yikes! Yeah, just heard... I'm originally from Houston and grew up a Rockets fan. Got to see the championships early/mid 90"s with Hakeem, so I'm always pullin' for 'em. This was the first year in a while I thought they were gonna make a better run for it. T-Mac is really gonna have to shine now. It will definitely hurt them without Yao, indeed I think this kills them this season. Mutombo will be no help. Too bad.

    GO SUNS

    Re: NBA time

wow that sucks. i'd have to say the rockets are in trouble. with how tight the west is and losing a key player like yao, it's gonna be hard to get into the playoffs, let alone win a series in the playoffs. good luck w/ that.

as far as the suns go....i had a bad feeling the shaq trade was a big mistake and i think i could be right. i know i know...it could work out over time, but i doubt it. the guy is old and a shell of his old self. you play him over 23 minutes and he's gonna kill your team. he'll make careless fouls, make your defense worse, (btw shaq and staudamire could be the worst defensive duet up front in the nba) and slow down the offense. not to mention he's totally taking basrbosa out of the game.

oh and plus you just took on this old man's $20 MILL contract, for like the next 2-3 years. bad move!

i know marion wanted out but i would've traded him for jermaine oneal before shaq.

i like the suns and i would like to see them get over the hump this year, but it's not gonna happen.

i think your man's lakers are definately the team to beat right now.....and they don't even have bynum back yet. SCARY!

Dude the suns have become a big let down for me. Talk about a sucky defensive team holy shit.

I went to the Suns Lakers game...it was pretty exciting, but still a big let down. I was on Shaq's side, but man he is done for. I was scared that letting him play against the Lakers for the first game could have been a huge mistake and it was. They do not gel well at all anymore........and they are missing a piece of the puzzle.

    Re: NBA time

did you hang out with kim? yeah i don't have a favorite team in the nba but i like the suns and would like to see them win it all. there's no way though. i like shaq and was hoping he could fix things but i knew he wouldn't. he just doesn't have it anymore. he rally needs to just retire after this season. it's kinda sad to see him play now.
