The newest ones I know of are Diamond and Pearl, I actually bought a really cheap pink Nintendo DS just so I can play Pokemon Diamond Now I just need it to arrive

The pink was cheaper and came with more stuff =D And they have it set up so you mostly have one on one battles but there are times when you can do double battles

I really don't like the double stuff. I still remember getting the Gameboy Color and Pokemon Yellow, and how awesome it was. I played that one all the time... I miss those games. It's like Fire Emblem, everyone's just changing the whole basis of their series... Pretty soon all the PacMan worlds will change to get rid of the power pellets and give PacMan a machine gun and a first person camera mode...

The game's have improved a lot, most of the new features are really good although I hate most of the new pokemon they release the older ones were much better

I don't know any past the Silver/Gold/Crystal set. Those were ok.
