Thrashers have given up! They got some guys for the future! Three prospects and a draft choice from Pittsburgh for Hassa! I think that this spells the end for our GM Don Waddell. Unfortunately, our ownership can't be fired! Mike

Yea Mike, it looks like your guys have thrown in the towell on this season. I think it was the best move though to move the stud for future prospects. His next contract is going to be HUUUGE.

We finished up our never ending 8 game road trip with  5 straight wins. Getting Cambell before the trade deadline was a great move. I liked Bernier but he was in the coaches dog house most of the year. Cambell is a sick defensive player with mad skating skills and he can run the power play very well which was one of our weaknesses. We were already a top 5 team but we got way better from getting him.

We picked up a back up goalie (Boucher) so Nabokov can get a day off once in a while and he got a shut out in his first game. We slaughtered St. Louis. OMG,  I feel sooooo bad for Manny Legace for the Blues. He's a sick goalie and he played like a God against us but that defense is beyond horrible and their offense is one of the worst I've ever seen.

Lindsey and I went to a Sharks party at Dave & Busters on Saturday (we beat Detriot) and we won one of the raffles which included $20 worth of video game play, free burger coupons, a bunch of free movie tickets, CD's and 2 free pizza's at some local place. It was pretty sweet!

We're going to see Montreal tonight. It should be a stellar game. Montreal leads the East with 81 points and we have 80 points (in one less game)

How good is the West when we have 80 points and are in 5th place and Montreal has one more point and leads the Eastern conference?

Who said we can't play Hockey in the west???

    Ha-ha!!

    Wish us luck tonight!
We're gonna need it because Montreal is fuggin good!

    c ya!

    TheFreak31:

Naw, I don't get to go to too many games, which sucks since the Tank is like a ten minute ride from my house. My family can't really afford season tickets so we only go a few times a year.

Anyway, I don't really care whether they trade Marleau or not, especially if whoever we get produces. Here's a fact, Mareau is currently  -21, which is the team worst. The closest to that, Vlasic, is only -11.

The Sharks are really shooting themselves in the foot lately. We had Dallas in our sights and the Red Wings seem to be slowing down. They've got their work cut out for them if they want a good seed.

    Hey Freak,

Have you seen Marleau lately? He's been playing well since the trade deadline passed.

His  minus 21 is down to  minus 19. Ha-ha!

When he was minus 21 he was the forth worst in the entire league and he gets $2 plus mil a year.

I guess he's happy now that he didn't get moved so he's playing hard. We need that second line to produce.

We have the best 1st line and best 4th line in all of hockey but what good does that do if the second line can't score and gives up all of the goals?

They've been looking good the past 2 weeks so hopefully we're getting in gear at the right time.

I like how Wilson keeps mixing it up. He had Roenick on the second line against St. Louis and they looked even better.

Dallas is fuggin scary though. OMG! They are going to be hard for anyone to beat in the playoffs.

If the season ended today we'd have Anahiem in the first round (OUCH!) and then fuggin Detriot or Dallas in the second round and then the other in the conference finals.

    Holy sh*t!!! That's brutal!!!

....and then probably Jersey for the cup.

Where are the fans of the eastern conference teams???

    Sh*tsburgh?

    Boston?

    Anyone?

    OMG!!!!

The game last night was a fuggin blast!!!!

We scored a minute into the game and 30 seconds later they scored. Then Thornton scored a minute later.

Then it was 2-2 after 1.

Then 3-2 us, then 3-3, then 4-3 us, then 4-4, then 5-4 us. Then Cambell made one of the sweetest plays I've seen all year and scored late to give us a 6-4 win over Montreal.

    6 in a row baby!!!!

Try to find that move on You Tube if you can.

    DonkeyDick:
Predators fan for another year. Until they move away. I don't think hockey and Nashville mix too well. You have people like myself who love the game but have only been following it for 5 years. And then you have a few die hards. But for the most part you have people who don't know anything about hockey so they don't attend the games. The attendance is low so we will probably lose the team.

That's too bad that the Pred's might leave.

I grew up 2 hours north of Nashville and have been there a million times so I've always liked the Predators.

I watched the game the other night against the Shark's and sadly the majority of your fans were clearly clueless.  The Predator's played dirtier than any team I have seen all year (watched over 75 games)

I know that they are in the playoff hunt and  need to play hard but geesh, some of the hits along the boards were dangerous.

The crowd acted as though the ref's were cheating them but the refs swallowed their whistles many times in the Pred's favor.

One of your guys hit Pavelski low on the boards and only got 2 minutes for that. He should have been given at least 10 plus a game off but the crowd acted like 2 minutes was too much.

I like your team though. They played hard from beginning to end and are close to the final playoff spot even after the moves.

    peace
