I went to Music 6000 today and this guy gave me tips on pedals to get, he doesn't even work there. He also said "Don't give up man, always keep playing and never give up. You never know what'll happen. Maybe you'll be the next Jimi, or the next Dime." He was really cool. I've been in a rut lately, I haven't been able to come up with any music. Maybe what he said will get rid of my writer's block.

like 2-3 months ago, this guy at school had 2 bags of weed in his book bag..so the day was over  and he was going down the hallway...the fucking weed fell out of his book bag and was automatically expelled

It's awesome, I think the guy I like might be coming over this weekend... Best part is, I'm gonna teach him how to play bass, and he was like "So, if we make a band, who's gonna be on vocals and drums?" and I was like "Well, I'm sort of in a band with Stephanie and Tyler, vocals and drums, so..." Which seems like a normal conversation. But since those two aren't very serious about the whole thing, it qwns! This is the first time someone ELSE has brought up the topic of a band to me! That means I'm not the only one who thinks about it! And I don't think I even mentioned forming a band with him- so it was all him! I'm so excited right now!

Now to mention the fact that I let him in on bass to Stephanie... Hmm... That will be strange, since I don't know that I'm fully 'in'... Oh well, if she says no, I'm quitting, even though her voice kicks serious ass, I wouldn't have to do any compromising musically with Adam...

That's gotta suck. I'm really lucky to have one, I wouldn't have expected to find anyone, we're probably the only three not musically retarded kids for miles, and the two like emo

What's your local scene/lack of scene? I think the few other people only play country here
