know, the Alice In Chains/Velvet Revolver tour kicks off in just a few days,
and I’ll once again be taking blurry pictures, shooting wobbly video, and
writing up tales from the road.

things will be a bit different this time around.
The Powers
That Be have decided to launch an All Access Subscription service on the site.
I was only informed of this last week and still am not sure what all it
entails.
(I’m
not even sure who The Powers That Be are)
I think
it will involve some pretty cool stuff and new features, along with the crap
that I do.

While I
think the All Access service will be cool, in all honesty I’m not thrilled that
my write-ups will only be available to people who sign up and pay up.
The
beauty of having such a long history with this band is that I can pretty much
tell them anything, so I’m going to be raising a stink over the next few days
and I’ll see if we can’t find some kind of compromise where the write-ups will
still be available to those of you who don’t want or can’t afford to sign up
for the service.
