Re: Patriots Have STill Made History

    lynda31:

Not many teams going to the super bowl four times in a row and winning every single game of the season but one. I don't know of any other teams that have done that much. As far as i'm concerned they may not have won the super bowl but all there wins in the past four years surpass all your teams. NOt only that but the Patriots are way better than than the Giants and there was a lot of pressure on the Patriots as well. Bottom line we still have made history. Don't worry we'll be back next year and we will win it all.

Oh yeah and the Red Sox will waste all your teams this year once again as well...

I think you better check your NFL history. Where do you see 4 times in a row? Where you alseep the entire 2003 season? http://www.nfl.com/superbowl/history The Undefeated Dolphins won two years in a row.

1: The team who have won the most SB are the 49'ers, Cowboys and Steelers (5). 2: prior 2002 how many SB's had the Patriots won?? OH that's right that would be ZERO. Remember the new one they were RIPPED by da' Bears in 86? 3: remind me HOW MANY TIMES was Brady sacked last night? Was that 5 times?? OH the O-line must have been feeling the "pressure" Puleeeeeeeeeeeze. THAT is what those guys play for their entire careers.

So instead of acting like a sore loser congratulate the Giants on a great game.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I <3 Miami, and I <3 seeing Tom Brady get sacked.

    My Phins too. Smile

I don't know where you live but I'm in NY and the local news interviewed Sam Madison after the game and asked him some DUMB question about beating the "undefeated" team and without skipping a beat Sam said something like the "the only undefeated team is the 72 Dolphins"  Once a Phin always a Phin!

I disagree. I think it would have been better we didn't win. than to come so close and shit the bed in the end. and i'm one of those people who don't believe in it's better to have love and have lost than to haven ever loved at all. bullshit. with nothing to lose you never feel a loss at all. much better in my book. though i'm so glad they have won championships. but thinking like that you miss the point. the point is we are still incomplete in a way. God to lose the super bowl at least if we gonna lose one. lose another one in the season. btw maybe you should consider rooting for a team that doesn't suck. maybe that would fix the problem. i mean if the team sucks they don't deserve to win period. but teams that have a lot of talent should win. maybe we played this game so not like the Patriot games we usually play. but god it, it just sucks. ok i've had enough i can't keep dwelling. all i can say the last person on earth i'd want to be right now is Tom Brady. I think he may be puking as we speak.

here's the thing....i'm not a bandwagon fan. sports bigamists are the scum of the earth and have no right being fans. hopefully you're not one.....you probably are though.

Don't worry Lynda, I just knew Sludgie would love and wallow in the fact that the Pats lost the SP, as he wants every team to suffer crushing defeat like his beloved Bungles.  I for one, am glad they made it so far, and will be happy w/that til next season.  Shit happens.Big Smile

I was rooting for the Pats just for the fact of how cool it would be for them to break the record... but I'm happy for Eli - after Peyton won last year... Man, that is one hot quarterback family, eh??

I am glad to see that someone shares my opinion of the Manning family.

I'll go one further, sludge...... IN MY OPINION this Patriots team is the best EVER in the history of football...  I really do.  That was one incredible run.

I disagree. Had they won, you would be correct.

By not winning the big one they removed themselves from any/all discussions involving "the best teams ever".

There are now a minimum of 42 teams that can all claim they are better than this pats team. All 42 of them would be correct in making that claim.

    Re: Its a beautiful thing

Good sportsmanship is part of being a good team, and the Patriots are clearly lacking.
