Now you have me excited Mr Green

I'm curious because I've been slacking over in the Megadeth forum.

What was the order of the bands?

overall  it's good, but i still manage to fall asleep in the middle of bjork concert with loud music and great stage performance...lol it's not because she is bad, it's because i was having a killer cold.
Even until today, my nose is still running and im still coughing baddly. may be i should quit smoking. may be...not

i should see my doctor if i keep coughing up my lungs out, meh

Re: Concerts You Are Going To?

Yo Bjork was so good live. I'm so glad to have seen that show.

    Recently added:

5/09 - Miles from India @ Town Hall, NYC, NY
5/11 - Rosetta, Amen Ra, Battlefields, Gholas @ The Khyber, Philly, PA

And dammit, I just realized that the Priest show which I just bought a ticket for conflicts with another show I'm already going to. I swear I'm doomed to never see Testament. I need to see if I can get off for the PNC show.

I guess I need to listen to some more of her stuff then, b/c what I've heard is crap.

Not really. She has an whimsical avant-garde foundation mixed with refined pop savvy. There's nothing about that I don't like. It's not easy listening and she's a weirdo, which is probably why many people don't dig her, but on the other hand, it's why I do.

Re: Concerts You Are Going To?

Couple of interesting tours coming up.

    First:

KING'S X, EXTREME to Team Up For 'Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp' Tour - May 1, 2008

KING'S X frontman dUg Pinnick revealed during an interview with the nationally syndicated rock radio show "The Tour Bus" (web site) that his band will team up with the reunited hard rockers EXTREME for a U.S. tour this summer. Although details are sketchy at the moment, it appears that the Live Nation-produced trek will go out under the Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp banner and will include a national competiton whereby "different bands are gonna come and try out" by jamming with an all-star lineup of musicians during the day "and whoever the best band is of the day, they get to open for us and EXTREME," according to Doug. "And they're gonna video it — the guy who did 'Rock Star: Supernova', the thing Tommy Lee was in — he's videoing it, and I guess they're gonna try and turn it into a show."

The following musicians have reportedly signed on to appear on the tour as part of the "all-star" lineup that will be jamming with the competing artists:

    Gilby Clarke (GUNS N' ROSES)
Earl Slick (DAVID BOWIE, JOHN LENNON)
    Chris Slade (AC/DC, THE FIRM)
    Mark Slaughter (SLAUGHTER)
    Elliot Easton (THE CARS)
    Dave Ellefson (MEGADETH)
Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH)
    Mark Hudson (songwriter/producer, AEROSMITH)
    Kip Winger (WINGER)

All participants and their bands will be evaluated by the above-listed touring rock stars over the course of the trek and the one lucky band will be awarded an all-expense paid trip to the London Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp in November 2008.

I don't know about that fantasy camp stuff. All I know is that it will give me more time to drink at the bar before going in to see King's X.

Sorry in advance if this has been asked, but I don't have time at work to read through 47 pages.  Anybody going to Voodoo Fest in NOLA?

Type O - Where are they playing on the 9th? I'm seeing them on the 10th.
Opeth - Is that an off date from the DT tour? Or are you just boycotting DT?
Amorphis - I have to remember to hit that tour up. I want to see Virgin Black too. And Leaves' Eyes even though they're not that good.
Who's on the Summer Slaughter tour? Other than the Black Dahlia Murder, whom I've already seen.
