SFA guitars  These actually belong to my daughters, but possession is 9/10 of the law.  The bass is a Gibson Equiphone EB-O and the guitar is a Washburn Dime 332b.
    Are you like me, confused

How much did the Washburn cost? Because I've seen some Razorbacks that are in the 6000 dollar range @_@

Razorbacks are awesome.  This one only cost about $300.  She really wanted a Flying V.  We wanted to see if it would get played and taken care of before investing more.  Hint:  Had to dust it to take this pic.

Only 300? Surprise I might be able to afford that.

Hey CP, where did you say you live again? Big Smile This is exactly the setup I'm dreaming of.

How much did it cost you?

    Big Smile

I got the Bogner gear for about $2,000 which wasn't all that bad.

The Shiva is worrying me though right now.  It has a squealing noise I have yet to pinpoint:  I replaced tubes, cleaned/tightened tube sockets and input/output jacks, resoldered the cabinet, inspected the circuit board for any broken connections or burned components.  I am going to clean everything again, check out the power tube sockets (bend the connectors), check the grounds, and check the wires while it is live to see if any of them are making noise.  I am hoping I may be able to repair it myself, but if I am not 100% sure, I am just going to bite the bullet and take it to a really good local tech and see if they can figure it out.

Soldering/fixing amps is the one thing I wouldn't dare to do myself. FX and guitars are in my turf of DIY, but amps is a big NO NO

Hope you get it fixed soon.

    Re: Your Guitar?

Today I took a trip to Sam Ash... while I didn't expect to buy a guitar here I am posting some pics of my new one....

It's a Michael Schenker Custom (Jerry uses one of these) and I have to say so far this guitar is great!

    It's light

It's got a distinct big, heavy sound

    It plays very fast

    It looks GREAT!

And I got all that for $482 (retail is normally $799) used from Sam Ash.

    It's a good day!

P.S. Sorry for the crappy, sidways pics... I took em with my phone as soon as I got home... I'll try to get some better ones on shortly...

    I LOVE  your signature.

I have en Epiphone SG. I have yet to remove that plastic protector thingie lol

And I still have my other guitar, an Ibanez

And I have a bass too, a washburn. Don't have a pic right now.

Before I had a black Yamaha guitar, it was really awesome too. And before that, my first guitar was a crappy Samick lol. I've been playing for nearly 13 years now =).

    Re: Your Guitar?

I celebrated my fifteenth birthday recently, and I was really really hoping to get a Dean Dimeblade

Sadly I didn't get it, but there's always next Christmas or my birthday next year =D

    Re: Your Guitar?

I have many guitars, but the one I play the most is my Fender Duo-Sonic II

    http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb289/frusciante-god/Photo40.jpg

I'm getting an EVH OLP in a month.

I used to have my nice shiny Ibanez, that was a light brown, but unfortunately it died (the wiring inside is completely screwed and I'm to lazy and cheap to get it fixed)

    Re: Your Guitar?

Here are some pics of my 1985 G&L Rampage, originally white (now aged into a faded yellow color, kind of like JC's).

I also play a Les Paul Standard, Godin Artisan Signature Series, 1994 Fender superstrat MIJ - but the Rampage is my #1 and plays/feels better then any guitar i've ever played, including some very nice Fender custom shops.
