    Vintage guitars half off

    I found this site yesterday thats having a sale with a lot of guitars at half price including vintage guitars

    Unfortunately I cant get anything since I don't live America or Canada >_> But it would be a good chance for anyone else to get some new gear

    I don't see a significant price drop compared to what I see in stores. I think the 50% off sales pitch is a little confusing as I've seen Les Paul standards in stores go for around the same price as the web-sites "sale" price - Yeah, I guess if you jack the price up a lot and then take 50% off that, then I guess in a sense you are getting 50% off something, but the average market value?

    No sweat - I've seen some shops in the past that boost prices a few months before a big summer sale, and then suddenly you're getting these big "discounts" and thinking you're getting a great deal.

    <> Just to be clear, I'm not saying that's what the web-site is doing that, because prices vary everywhere, but I've different stores use different sales tactics and it's always a good idea to shop around.

     

    <>Plus I think some guitars are over priced as they are, especially the Les Pauls as their quality control is very poor - I played every Les Paul standard in the different stores in my city before I found one I was happy with, and I'm not even a guitar snob, I just want a straight neck, that it stays in tune, and sounds good.
