why do people like tds the best? that album is SO overrated.

the fragile is so much better quality.

and ps, broken is my favourite album of all time. even though it is an ep.

I agree with you, while I do love tds, the fragile I find to be a lot better. Theres sooooo many great songs on it

They are going to give a concert here... I wanted to go but it was very expensive (as are their CD's) and it was sold out in like 7 minutes. :(

I recently found a short film in which Trent says something about animal rights. That was pretty cool :)

I wouldn't say that it sucked, as it is better then a lot of shit out there today, but it is the worst nin full length album out there. it took me awhile to get used to and imo is better then i first thought it was when it came out. it sounds to computerized to me

Their shows over here weren't that bad for tickets, I paid like 45 for seats. as far as cds go, they are about average, depending on where you go to buy them, with the exception of the fragile, as it's a 2 disc cd

They were 45 euro's here as well (aprox. the same), but for The Netherlands, that's expensive. Most concerts of famous artists (like Green Day) are 30 euro's... I only buy my cd's in local store's, there they are always above 20 euro's, which, I think, is way too much for a one disc CD :s

    Re: Nine Inch Nails

I just finished listening to their new song, "Survivalism". What genre is this stuff considered now? Sounds like Techno.

Besides that, I like a few of their songs.

    Re: Nine Inch Nails

His genre is hard to define. People have called it everything from dance, electronica, techno, industrial, rock, you name it. I think he just puts a different spin on your basic song structure. I like the noises and sounds he puts in his music. And he creates most of it himself, which is pretty cool. Survivalism is a cool song. The video for it was released to fans last night at a show in London in the form of USBs dumped in bathrooms at concert halls. The video is pretty good, too. I liked it. He's employed quite the marketing scheme to sell this album. I haven't gotten into all the particulars, but people are having fun with it. It has to do with ARG's, and being that Trent likes video games and such, it fits.

    Re: Nine Inch Nails

With Trent being the artsy type of individual that he is, Nails shows are waaaaaaaaay better than almost any other concerts. And god bless him for that.
