All bands are emo-tional!
Their music evokes certain emotions within us.

But AIC are NOT 'emo' as in My Chemical Romance and all that shite,
'emo' no longer refers to music being 'emotional',
it's now a tag for crap music and boy/girl, girl/boy kids with spikey coloured hair and issues with tight pants!

Worse than emo kids (or grown-ups) are the hoards of people who are walking around in Ramones t-shirts when they have never listened to them in their life. For some reason there are tons of them - it's like the clothes version of a middle aged man buying a Porsche to make himself feel cool. I don't know if this trend is in America but here in the UK it's everywhere.

Oh yeah, that's everywhere here, too. Same with AC/DC and Kiss, they get slaughtered by preps who want to look cool. The occasional Zep shirt too, it's depressing.

I was talking to someone last year or something and she was like "I really want one of those AC/DC shirts with the cannon..." and I was like "For Those About to Rock? Have you even heard that song?" and she was like "No, I don't know any AC/DC, but it looks cool. You've heard them before?" Needless to say we aren't friends

I had an incident like that a few years back. I saw this girl wearing an ac/dc shirt..and I was just curious and trying to strike up a conversation. So I was asking her about ac/dc and other music she liked..Then she just looked at me and said.."I'm wearing the shirt because my dad thinks it's cool.."

Gah! I hate how people are so hung up on being cool. Whatever happened to being a good person? Now you gotta wear that, and this, and you gotta wear your hair like this, and you always have to have name brand merchandise. It makes me sick
