Ok girls, I have stories!

I was positioned at the end of the red carpet, kind of by the door to go in. I was one of the only members of the press who was allowed to go in after the carpet closed to see the show, so even though I was being jostled around and constantly interrupted by pushy radio people, I knew I had access they wouldn't :)

I'll skip straight to Jerry, even though he was the last one down the carpet. He was wearing a cowboy hat, full beard, denim shirt and jeans (insert hillbilly tux joke here). Luckily, since all the super huge guys had already gone in and most of the media had already left, there wasn't much competition for Jerry's attention. He came up to me and a group of three male radio reporters- he actually hugged the guy standing next to me, and I nearly fainted because he brushed up against me- and someone asked about the organization and he just starts talking and all I can do is stare at his gorgeous blue eyes. The other reporters were obviously seasoned pros and they kept throwing questions at him and all I had was the question about his beard! I asked him if it's true that he won't shave it until the album is over. I hope it's okay that I asked that, Lynda! That's all I had! Anyways, he laughed and answered "yeah, it's true." Apparently he got Sean to do it to, but Mike won't. I have the whole interview recorded, so I will transcribe it for you guys later. Overall, Jerry was very professional and kind and stayed for a long time. I asked him the final question, which was about him and Camp Freddy and how he is playing with them a lot. I noticed that whenever he was answering my questions, he wouldn't look directly at me; he didn't do that with the other guys, though. It was weird, like he was facing me, but his eyes were darting around. I only caught his eye a couple of times during the whole conversation that went on for nearly ten minutes. He was looking down a lot, so perhaps he was admiring my ridiculously high heels (I'm 5'9 barefoot, but in those suckers I'm 6'2), lol. 

So he goes in and I go in right after him, but I lost him. I was up on the balcony, and luckily Jerry was sitting way in the front by the stage so I had my eyes on him the whole time (pictures and video are forthcoming!!!) He got up and played with Camp Freddy once and while Alice Cooper was closing the show, I noticed him in the wings hugging Slash and some other people and I assumed he was leaving. I made the judgment call and left too, hoping I could see him coming out the back. Sadly, I must have just missed him. Anyways, it was a really amazing experience and hopefully I will have even better stories next week when I go see the Camp Freddy show at the Roxy. I apologize in advance for the pictures because the lighting was not conducive to me taking pictures (cameras weren't even allowed in the venue, but I lied through my teeth and smuggled my camera in), but I will try to fix them up in Photoshop a little to improve the quality. I will post them tomorrow, hopefully. Good night, ladies!

Hey girls what's up? Oh what  a day. it was definitely one of those days. i just got in and not from a gig. my gig got cancelled last minute and i could have really used the money. just one thing after the other today. then after hanging at my friends house i just decided last minutet to go to the 24 hour wallmart and i shopped for about two hours. ok yes, i'm crazy. but when i got to the counter damit i didn't have my friggin atm card on me. and i don't use credit cards been there done that. and she rang me up and i looked like an ass and had to tell them i couldnt' get it. L FOR LOSER!!!

anyway don't wanna bore yeah any further. hope you all had a good day. Happy MOthers Day to all you moms! hope you all get pampered today. well girls got some pics i need to put up. my friend tash had sent me some and said it was ok to post them here. i will get back with them. i'm too lazy to upload them into photobucket then on here and all that right now. oh yeah shoechicky btw. jerry is a single man. so i've heard anyway. not that it matters i'd still rock that ass.  Great job!!  That was so fun to read.  Love the new pics of Jerry that you all have posted.  He is so handsome.  I think he looks even better now than in the 80s/90s (not that he wasn't gorgeous then, too, but wow he looks great!).

Maybe he didn't look into your eyes because he's been looking at "the birthday present picture" and was wondering if you were in the pic.  LOL!

Laura and Dawn, I'm soooo sorry you ladies are going through this messed up time with your loved ones..keep your head up..unfortunately medicine is a very tricky science especially when dealing with people who have the knowledge but not necessarily the ability to listen to what's really going on....I highly recommend that you stay on top of everything that's being done...I do the same when my  mom is sick and there's not a single time when she's given something and I don't check it out for myselft before telling her it's ok to take it....you'd be surprised how sometimes people are unnecessarily and over medicated...scary..just hang in there and make sure you are kept abreast of everything that's being done and don't hesitate or be afraid to questions it or ask for clarifications....never hesistate :-)...our prayers are with you!

Happy Mother's day for the mommies out there...hope you feel as blessed as your families do for having you in their lives :-)
