    Seether

Any Seether fans around here. I noticed that there are a lot of younger fans around here (under 20), so I figured some of ya'll might also be fans. They just released a full band 'Unplugged' style CD/DVD called 'One Cold Night on the 11th. They're a great band. I think that the masterpiece was the debut record, Disclaimer, but that's just me. Any other fans out there in AIC land.  :)

Their frontman also just went into rehab. Which really sucks. They've cancelled all their shows, except rockfest this saturday. Why u may ask? Why would he go into rehab but leave for 1 show? I'll tell you why. It's because theyre playing Rockfest with Alice in Chains!!! Fuck yea. I'll be there.

Haha, Yea at first I thought that playing with AIC was reason as well, but it probably also has to do with the fact that their tour with Staind and Three Days Grace doesn't start until after the Rockfest show too. :p
Seether has also covered 'Nutshell' a few times in there sets recently, as well as 'Man In The Box' with Brett Hestla of Dark New Day handling lead vocals on the song live last year.

Bump. Seether played with AIC at rockfest last saturday. They kicked ass. Sean is in rehab now, which really sucks. THey played some of Man in the Box, and their Nirvana cover was breathtaking. It sounded just like Nirvana. God I love em.

    Re: Seether

The vocalist has an amazing voice.  I went to their show back in 2004 and they covered "You Know You're Right"...if you closed your eyes, you would SWEAR that that guy was channeling Kurt.  The videos on YouTube of him covering Nirvana songs don't do the band justice...you'd have to be there to hear it.  Seriously amazing.  Their own material is pretty good as well...much better than most of what's out today.

I saw them when they opened for Audioslave they were good, they made the crowd forget about the lousy performance by 30 seconds to mars prior to them, they did a cover of Nirvanas Drain You which sounded alot like Nirvana.
