You hafta have something to say about these guys i mean they are one of my favorite bands out thier they are kinda off the wall but they are awesome non the less. who else likes these guys or do you hate them any way let me know your feelings about them

I used to like them quite alot. But after the whole Mezmerize/Hypnotize hype exploded, the band just seemed to lose something in their music. Just my humble opinion.

I love em.  I mean, I LOVED em. Up until this double album thingy came out. The albums suck imo. what the hell happened to soad. Their first 2 albums showed so much promise... DAMNIT

I can't understand why people dislike both Mesmerize and Hypnotize

I think Mesmerize is ok, but I can see why people wouldn't like it

But Hypnotize is NOTHING like Mesmerize, and I think it's probably their best album apart from the self entitled 

Never got in to them.  I can't acquire a taste for that whole screaming instead of singing stuff.  It's great when it's done in moderation (well, when it's done right I should say because we all know there are some bands that just seem to scream for no reason and at really awkward points in the song, lol), but to me SOAD does take it a bit overboard.  Too much for my taste anyway.  I do know people who LOVE them though.  They've done well for themselves for sure.

after hearing that their last album was just over 30 minutes long by my freind, i came to conlcusion that the band is horrible. i never liked them and practically hate them. their the type of band theat ur obsessed with at first, then your musical taste matures and you realize 'hey they suck ass' much like the band korn, or should i say koRn for all you people that still like that washed up band.

4/5/02 we will never forget.

Love this band!! Been listening to them quite a bit lately. Personally, Mezmerize and Hypnotize are my fav. albums from them. Political music generally appeals to me right off the bat (if it's well written) so I was natually attracted to these albums.

Soad is my third favorite band (Alice and Mushroomhead being the first two). Steal This Album is my favorite CD, it's just mixed up and its cool. Don't get why people don't like the last two albums, I love them, but to each his own.

It left the same first impression on me, but it's musically deeper than it seems at first. If you really get into the feeling you can understand how they're not just metal to be metal kindof stuff. Much of it sounds based on slavic and russian music.

(I hate korn too) 

omg, I could go on & on about these guys!!  I loooove System, 2nd favorite band - after Alice, of course!  Personally, I think their music keeps getting better & better!!
