    Re: Your Guitar?

Alright, heres my stuff: I've got a G&L Rampage that had been customized prior to the time I purchases it from a shop in Tejas.  I have a Guild D4 acoustic, an OLP 5-string Bass, a Peavey 5150, a T.C. G-Major, Ibanez TS9, a Digitech Metal Master (Useless to me now), a Bad Horsie II wah, a broken Dunlop Wah, a Marshall MG15CD, and thats it I think.  I used to have an Amber Burst Dean Hardtail, but I sold that, I also used to have a Bogner Shiva prior to that, but like the previous I sold it to save some money, as I figured I didn't need one.

I put a JB and a Jazz in it, but I am going to swap the Jazz out for a 59 soon.

Dude, keep the Jazz in, the output is waaaaay lower than the JB, so if you do any type of pickup switching it's a huge volume change. I originally had a JB and a 59 in my Les Paul Double Cut and I came across that problem, so I put a Jazz in.

Gotta say man, nice choice in amp. I wanted to get one of those EVH 5150 twins for a long time. I ended up sticking with my two Marshall halfstacks.

    Re: Your Guitar?

My friend has a Tokai Les Paul with a JB and a 59 and he also has a fat strat with the same combination, and I have only experienced a slight gain change whenever switching.  I don't know though, the benefit of having the 59 out weighs the bads in my opinion so I think I am going to go for it.

Thanks for the complement on the 5150.  I like it a lot, and it saved me a lot of money too.  I definitely am going to change my setup eventually, but not quite yet.  I am currently eyeing both a Soldano SLO-100 and a Bogner Ecstasy 101B, but I am way too cheap to go for either of them right now.

Here are a few of mine

Since this photo I have sold the tubescreamer and now run a DOD 7band EQ for a solo boost and i also have a dgi delay. I run the Gnx 4 straight through the PA. I Also have an old strat and a Godin freeway classic.

Soldano's are badass man. My camera is still at work, so I can't post any pics of my gear yet :( I use a Les Paul doublecut with w JB and a Jazz, and Custom shop Firebird which I'm going to put a JB and Jazz in because the output level just doesn't match the duncans in the LP. I have a 'retired' from stage use flying v hendrix edition which I only use for my custom Standard G tuning(that's six full steps down). A Silver custom Fender Strat to be like Billy Corgan's silver strat. An Ovation acoustic/electric. For amplification a modified 1984 JCM800 head through a Marshall Cabinet and another marshall halfstack. Pedal board is powered with a Morley Mark Tremonti Power Wah, Boss Tuner, Marshall Channel Switcher, an old Danelectro Tremolo pedal, and a Boss Digital Delay.

SpooN:  Nice Wolfgang dude, I love those guitars.  I've always had my eye on a USA, but I dislike Floyd Rose type trems.

Solacematt:  Cool setup dude, I definitely love Morley Wahs now, the durability is great on them.  Nice guitars too dude, and shit, what gauge strings did you do the G tuning with man?  Cool Marshall too man, my friend has a Splawn modded JCM 800 and that thing sounds great.

    Re: Your Guitar?

ChemicalParasite: The wolfie is great, mine is a USA purple flame. The cool thing about the floyd rose on the wolfie is that it only goes down not up.....

     Hope that made sense

    Re: Your Guitar?

Yeah dude that is a nice guitar.  And yeah I understand about the Floyd, it is setup like Van Halen's so you can only do dives with it.  A local guitarshop I go to has a USA Wolfgang and whenever I try out any new gear that is always the guitar I use.
