first off, i must list a few things i really have deep-seated contempt for. i have my reasons for each, though. first: les pauls. second: sideways hats. third: ANY G&L being called a "pseudo"-any fender model. i'm not trying to bash/flame anybody to any degree, but a comment like that makes you sound like somebody who doesn't know a thing about G&L's, and bought one for the name because Jerry plays one; even worse, you got one with G&L's patented MFD single-coil pickups, nothing at all like his own axe. i'm NOT flaming, i'm just saying that such statements make the speaker sound incredibly uneducated, especially when the subject is his own axe.anyway, my first picture is the G&L i've yet to get. all to my specifications. this is a composite image i made in photoshop; i'm doing similar pictures with all of G&L's lineup, and that's how i'm getting this axe for free--website graphical work. i love photoshop :) every piece of the guitar is traced by hand and then styled; the maple texture of the body is, in fact, made by me, after i exhausted google image search looking for a decent swatch of flamed maple.

other than this (which i don't have yet), my only gear is first year-player's more "budget" gear. 15w Crate bass amp i got at a yard sale; Epiphone G400 (think cheap Gibson SG with a maple neck) with EMG-81 (bridge) and -85 (neck) pickups (a lot of people with this combo, and for good reason); Digitech Metal Master; Ibanez TS7; used Boss DS-1 ($4 from a friend...nice price); and a Vox Wah-Wah.I'm looking at a sure-fire $40,000 a year job within the next year, and once the paychecks start coming, I'm planning on a Randall MTS-series amp, a Digitech Whammy pedal, and who knows what else. Probably a Chorus pedal and a Delay/Echo pedal in there too.
