After those two they made my favourite Soundgarden album "Down On THe Upside"...it's got Pretty Noose on it with all the sick drumming on it...Blow Up The Outside World....Ty Cobb....go get it!!!

And get Loud Love and UltraMega OK too....both before BMF but I think UMOK is rare...it is over here anyway.

Yea, Audioslave is definatly a different band...everything Tom Morello and and RATM guys does sounds the same. Soundgarden had so many dynamics. Amazing band. Cornell and Theyail weaved these really cool, very interesting guitar riffs in and out of each other. Cornell's voice is just amazing. They're like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath had a kid.

Soundgarden is one of my favorite bands ever. Ultramega OK is my favorite, followed by Badmotorfinger.

I also dig Louder Than Love a lot.

Yup.  BadMotorFinger is a kick ass album.  It's right up there with AiC.  Their albums after that kind of went downhill a bit for me (they are still good albums, just not all stars like BMF).  I put that shit in my sig, it better be good.

Louder Than Love is a very good album, but Badmotorfinger just kicks its ass! I have the utmost respect for Soundgarden.

Personally, I'm a Superunknown fan (Like Suicide is THE SHIT IMO) but Badmotorfinger is right behind it in my book. Love Soundgarden!! Hopefully we'll see a reunion tour sometime in the future.

    Re: my favorite band

I love Soundgarden as well. It's hard to pick a favorite. I love Badmotorfinger and Down on the Upside, but Superunknown has my favorite SG song: Like Suicide. That song is just amazing to me. I also love Cornell's Euphoria Morning.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I'm not sure I'd want a reunion. As much as I love Cornell's voice, I think it's deteroriated over the years and I'm not sure he could pull off some of that old catalog. Having seen him four or five times with Audioslave, I've noticed that he's very up-and-down performance-wise. Sometimes, he just doesn't hit the notes well and it sounds as if he's reaching a lot. That said, if they did reunite, I'd sure as hell go :D.

I don't like everything they play, but own 4 albums though, will get 'em all eventually. My favorite is "Superunknown" I think, "4th of July" is probably my favorite track.
