    Ozzy

Can't believe no one hit up Ozzy yet. Ozzy is bar none my favorite of all time. Without him, I wouldn't be a fan of rock and roll. Ozzy changed my life and because of his music, I became a bass player. I could do without all that Osbournes crap, but to me Ozzy will always be the man. I've seen him more times than I can count, and I've met him (on my birthday no less!). Tomorrow I will be seeing him again. God bless Ozzy.

So who's got Black Rain? How do you like it?

Did you see him perform Jimmy Kimmel? Not too bad. Zakk blew it away on guitar though!

Definitely his worst album ever. He's obviously not even trying anymore.

I saw the Jimmy Kimmel thing.  I thought Ozzy was hilarious.  I loved when Kimmel looked at him and said, "I have NO IDEA what you just said!"  (I mean, what else could he do?? I couldn't understand him either) And Ozzy repeated himself (I still couldn't understand what the hell he said) and told Kimmel something like, "open your ears then, you dumb shit!"  LOL   It was priceless.

But can you believe -- I fell asleep during commercial and missed the performance!!!!!  So I didn't get to see Zakk.  Damn.

There's no doubt Ozzy fried his brain long, long ago, but he still kicks serious ass onstage, I think.

I saw him perform on WWE Raw.  Ozzy is meh.  Zakk is still bad ass.  Wrestling fans are still fat.

I have been a long time fan of Ozzy's! I also loved his concerts. Yes, he isn't the same Ozzy that we all rocked out to but come on....is that enough reason to tear him apart and throw him to the wolves? Poor Ozzy.....

That new Ozzy song sounds promising.  Way better than their last album, Ozzy's weakest effort in my opinion.  Is Newsted playing bass for him still?

Does anyone have the new album?  That one song sounds promising and the album is getting great reviews.  If you buy the album in a store you get two tickets to Ozzfest for free!  Seriously.

What exactly do you want from singers outside of sounding like the record? Coreographed dance moves?

    ha-ha!

Black Rain is far from being Ozzy's worst. Did you listen to Bark at the Moon, The Ultimate Sin or Down to Earth. They were terrible. The song "Bark at the Moon" kicked ass, but the rest of the album sucked ass. Down to Earth wouldn't have been too bad if it wasn't so overproduced. Ozzy even says he wishes he could take back Sin and DTE. Black Rain has some real quality songs on it.

Keep in mind I don't have the cd, so I only know what I've heard on the radio....but....

I didn't like that disco song he came out with first off this album, but I like the one they're playing now (something about no man's land).  Zakk ROCKS in this one....

I don't have Black Rain (heh heh), but the two singles are ok. Love Zakk though, he kills it. And I really liked Down to Earth, I thought they were good songs. I don't know, it seemed like they fight in with that time of music, back in the early 2000's.

    Re: Ozzy

I honestly don't see why Americans are so high on Ozzy.THe albums he did with Randy Rhodes were good because of Randy Rhodes. Much of what Ozzy's done post Sabbath has been shite.

And while I respect that Zakk Qylde is a good guitar player,he's brought nothing new to the table for the last ten years. He's in perpetual pinch mode or something.Every second note is a fuckin pinch harmonic for chrissakes!

And the fact that Ozzy is now just regarded as a tit to be laughed at is a bigger shame. That reality show ruined him I think. Not from a money perspective but I lost respect for him after that.
