Wow! Thanks for that - overwhelmingly awesome! There are some songs I need to get - anyone know specifics for finding them...?

Also, "Thread" is the band that performs "Distance Aside", "The Fool", "Aviary Garlands", and two others whose names I don't know. You can read their story at www.itsnotalice.com . Pretty unusual stuff.

But, is "Blood Tears Little Girl" by Thread, then? Who sings this?

    SoulDesertion:
    Random stuff....

The dolls from "I Stay Away" are in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. The museum also holds several original hand-written lyrics sheet and other personal items of the band members.

Every Alice in Chains album has made it to the Number 1 spot on the Top 200 cd's

This kicks major ass. I live in Cleveland, but haven't been to the Rock Hall since I was about seven. Thanks for the info! I have to see these!

Here's some more: Scott Weiland preformed Angry Chair with Alice last year. Jerry Cantrell has performed a handful of times with STP and played Sex Type Thing [April 27, 2002 at the Uptown Charlotte Festival (Charlotte, NC)] [November 6, 2001 at the Reunion Center (Dallas, TX)] [I think there were more dates, but I'm not sure] and Got Me Wrong [November 6, 2001 at the Reunion Center (Dallas, TX)].

    Updated a few things.

It's not by Thread. I don't think anyone knows who sings it. I guess whatever band recorded it is satisfied letting people think it was AIC. But that and "Down," I've never been able to find any info on those songs. Other than they're not by AIC.

...hey, Rif, I don't have my files with actual dates/info (they're packed up) ~ but Jerry's (2001-2002) Deg Trip tour had a one-time guest drummer of Tommy Lee & quite a few onstage jam sessions with the Swarm/Death Angel guys...then there were a couple of jam sessions in '01, '03, '04 (I think those dates are close) with Sammy Hagar in Cabo & one in Lake Tahoe...Not to mention Nickelback LOL.........you have alot of the others already listed.....

*Edit* Thank God for Blabbermouth LOL

And while I'm digging thru my brain on the subject, it should be noted that during part of the 98 Boggy Depot tour Jerry had a guy named Unity singing the AIC songs ~ and the very beginning of the Deg Trip tour he (very briefly) had a guy named Ken Mooney singing the AIC songs..........
