Yeah the show fucking rocked! Was not fortunate enough to see them w/Layne but I gotta say William really impressed me. The boys were totally having a good time.....the people I met there were gonna meet them after the show.

Yeah I think the comedian guy was lying......but maybe not because if you look at some of the previous posts sounds like there could have been truth to it. I had no idea that they were gonna do autographs after the show.....damn! I would have stayed.

Wow!!! That is totally cool....I think I saw your daughter too! Wink...seriously. I was on the floor and I think you guys were above in the seats right? I remember thinking how cool for her! My parents did that for me as well saw the Temptations was my first show at five years old.....yeah getting up there I know. They also took me to see David Bowie at 10....what a great story! The guys are awesome. I remember Jerry saying something during the show about the guards taking someone away who got body passed and he was like be cool.....

Yeah, we were in the balcony on Mike's side of the stage.  Paige rocked her little heart out.  She has always asked to go to concerts with us, but never took her because most of the shows we go to get pretty rough.  We figured with the balcony seating and it being an accoustic show that it would stay mellow enough for her.  She really enjoyed herself and says she can't wait to get to school Tuesday to tell all her friends.  The only thing is, I doubt many of the other 7 year olds will know who AIC is, but she knows and thats all that matters.  She will definately never forget it.

    4 love. hate. love
    5 angry chair
    6 sludge factory
    7 killer is me
    8 brother
    9 no excuses
    10 nutshell
    11 got me wrong

    encore:
12 new song - (dont remember name of song)
13 squeeze box - cover. (dont know original artist)

"New Song" was actually a cover of Elton John's "Curtains" of the Captain Fantastic album. Sounded killer though. I was able to capture some audio of this song.

Paige is now officially the youngest AIC pimpette!! ; )  I see a whole new generation of fans...my son is 7 too and if we were near an acoustic show, we'd def take him...I don't think in the pit of a 20,000 person venue is a good place to start...lol.

mol79 ~ one person in our group saw your little girl (and mike pointing toward her during the show).....as we were leaving the show we were talking about how cool the show must have been for her
it is SO cool of the guys to be so respectful and sweet to her ~ that is just awesome!
i esp like 'your my favorite bass player'/'your my favorite paige'

the night felt like it was a bunch of friends hanging out jammin'.....the guys were having a great time ~ all smiles and relaxed

sean looked a bit bored.....though i'm sure he would like to just let loose and start really banging things with sticks......but the other three were def having a blast
i like when jerry introduced the band individually and said "...and WE are Alice In Chains"

i'll probably be on it.....though i really hope i'm not!
~ me being short means never getting any air in the pit.....which means i was a sweaty mess!  ew
(i thought the show was going to be held in the ballroom but they played on a smaller stage, which ended up being really cool ~ but it was pretty damn tight)
we did manage to slither our way up to the second row ~ amazing how sharing a doob with ppl lightens them up and makes them much more inclined to let you get in front of them :) hehehe
and there was a cool dude and his g/f-wife that shared his beer with us during the show to help combat dry mouth ~ all in all the crowd was frickin' cool and it felt like a big party
i hear from one of the girls i went with that some fuckface on the rail in front of her stood there giving them the 'thumbs down'.......good thing i didn't see that or i probably would have broke his thumb for him....if he didn't like it then wtf was he doing taking up valuable space on the rail???????   grrrr
