Re: A little bit of William DuVall history

It was really funny because when he was handing out picks at the end of the show I was hollering his name and he was looking for whoever was doing it (and I was RIGHT there by the rail at the time) but just couldn't find me.

BTW, does anyone have a DuVall/AIC pick?  I have a DuVall/Cantrell tour pick, but I haven't seen one with Will's name on it.

....ok, I've been listening to the Alabama show recording for the last hour & a half (LOL ).....and I have to say I've been listening to William sing Alice songs for 7 years now.....As much as I love these "new" additions (that is: songs not sung 7 years ago) he still has the same strong songs as he did in the beginning.....like Would?, like Rooster......we're all so shocked to hear songs like Love, Hate, Love & Rain When I Die & It Ain't Like That, which are all good songs by him too ~ but he still brings out the goosebumps on those two mentioned.....the oldies, hehehe......

Whomever recorded this show, I wish I knew who you were, cuz William loves collecting live recordings of AIC (& CWTF) shows he's been a part of.....so THANK YOU from me & him......

Seven years??? Holy cow, it doesn't seem that long. Though it would be what, 2001 or 2002 when I first heard him. Wow. Just can't believe it's been that long!

Yep, it's almost 2008 & Jan 2001 was the first public-ticketed Cantrell solo shows.....there were a few jam sessions before that (in 2000)....I know, sometimes it feels forever & sometimes it just seems like a year or twoEek
