Last week I was in Dallas enjoying AIC live! This was the second time I've gotten to see AIC, and I didn't want it to end. I wasn't fast enough to get tickets to the Austin acoustic hour, so I'm keeping my eyes open for another one I can get to. I didn't start listening to AIC until last year after I heard my oldest son's band sing a couple of their songs. I doubt I'm a typical fan, but there is something about their music that resonates wonderfully in me. I want to go to another concert of theirs, but I sure don't want to listen to VR. I thought the lead singer was going through his second childhood. Ugh! Oh, well. I loved the band I came to see. Anyone else there?

Thanks for putting my post with the others for this concert. My oldest son and I saw AIC in OK City last Nov. This trip my youngest son was with me. We walked by the buses during the VR concert (third song I guess) and saw William and some others out talking-y'all? That is so cool!

Hey PL! Y'all look great! It was wonderful of Baldy to get those to you so fast. He must be a nice guy. Are the guys working on some new songs? I enjoyed all the songs they sang in Dallas, I just don't think they've run out of things to say, you know? I'm looking forward to whatever they do next.

Wow Punky what an awesome night fo you chick!!!

I was there too and looking at your pics was probably right next to you in the pit.  It was my second show of the tour (having seen 'em in Vegas on the 2nd leg of my US roadtrip adventure) and it was phenominal!!  To be able to get up so close was competeley amazing for me, I couldn't understand why there was hardly anyone there, certainly one of the more empty gigs I've been too  But I'm certainly not complaining!

VR were pretty wicked too, I wasn't bothered about seeing them, but managed to get even close than I had for Alice   and enjoyed watching Duff's face as he tried remember why he recognised me (I'd had a mildly embarressing moment concerning him in Vegas ) as well as being up so close to Slash as he is a big hero of mine esp being British too

On the whole Dallas was a very very wicked night, but Austin was way more special and intimate.

Oh, and if you were that close to me, then you HAD to have been knocked around by that drunk guy - at least he was a happy drunk!    I know he had to have spent $50 on beer that he dropped and/or poured all over everyone around him - he cracked us up.  He fell a dozen times!  Then just got up laughing.....

Those brown leather pants certainly are legendary Naturegirl!  My friend and I couldn't believe our luck that he'd worn them for us

So, Punky I had a reeeaaaally drunk long haired dude infront/to the right of me, he was just happy I think, but I had to tell him off 'cos he kept knocking into myfriend and she's only little.  I got lot of hair in face too lol.  I kept thinking those guys were gonna breakout into a circle pit at any minute so I was constantly ready to run!  I'm so gutted I didn't get to meet another boardie  although I did actually meet my best friend (starryeyes) for the first time ever at the show.  We met on the internet too over a year ago on another Alice board and had a blast! I did actually do a very good job of picking up random crazy people at every Alice gig I went to; I think I'm a nutter magnet
