My husband and I were there on our honeymoon and it has such a cool vibe...  (We saw Chris Robinson from the Black Crowes... he's just one cool cat.)

just got my tickets for this show..good thing i booked my flight in early for Vegoose..just saw AIC in Marysville, CA and they blew VR out of the water..I can't wait to see this show!!!  and the joint is one of my favorites..my 2 favorite bands at the joint in a matter of days..(going to see Spearhead on that Saturday night)...gonna be a good weekend..take care

hey im going to this show.....i was kind of torn if i should go or not, i have been a fan for many years....never got the chance to see layne with AIC but saw jerry a few times back in 98. since this is an acoustic show i really wanted to go, i have watched clips and think william is doing a nice job....the guys look happy which is awesome, so i am getting excited. i just have small feelings of is it right hearing someone else sing love hate hate, nutshell, etc....but i think i will look at it more of as a tribute to layne and the guys continuing his legacy. anyway sorry for the rant, i was also wondering....does the JOINT have seats or is it all standing? thanks

I'm heavily considering coming up from LA for that show.  And then spending the rest of the weekend there for Vegoose.  I mean, holy shit, a weekend with AIC acoustic, then Thievery Corporation on Friday, then Daft Punk, Rage Against The Machine, Muse, and Iggy fucking Pop and the Stooges for the rest of the weekend? 

That might be overload...  Maybe I'll just do the Alice show.  :)

The Joint is all standing room only and concrete floor so wear comfortable shoes!  We were able to see AIC with William when they came thru last year and I too was apprehensive seeing them with a different lead singer, however William was AWESOME and as you mentioned I felt it was a living tribute to Layne.  We are definitely going, we wouldn't miss and AIC show for anything!

I'm so amped to see the show tonight in the Joint at the Hard Rock!  I'm driving down from Utah to see those great artists tear it up and make for an incredible life affecting wonderful experience!

I'm so excited.  I woke up giddy and it's only going to improve!
