Hey girls sup? i just got in from a gig. the season for gigging is here and i'm am so booked between my band and my duo. and i teach during the day. i'm not complaing but i'm exhausted. haha. so that's good i guess. beach season is here so i play a lot at the beach. people really dig us so i book a lot of rooms for us. and teh money has been sweet so i'm thankfull for that. anyway. how all you girls doing?

They just posted a bulletin about the MusiCares Benefit that will take place on Friday- and Jerry is supposed to be there. My heart sank when I saw that the event was sold out (and even if it wasn't tickets were $1000 for the floor) but I noticed that there was a place to apply for press credentials! I am a member of the press!!! So I ran it by my boss and he loved the idea, so now I am crossing my fingers that I can get credentials to cover the event! I will keep you girls posted!

i turned 25 back in april and i realized that i'm getting old and in fours yrs i'll be thirty and that sucks. But the thing that sucks the most is all these young kids that are 21 or 23 there so young and have there life has almost already gone by. I wish i was 21 again. I look like i'm 19 i know that when i'm 40 i'm still going to look 19. Some of the ladies i work with say i look 17.

Did you know that stacy dash who played dionne on the movie Clueless with alicia silversone was 33 yrs old in the movie playing a 16 yr old and recently appeared on the cover of KING magazine and she is 42 yrs old and still looks the same and yr ago she was on the montell williams show and apperared in playboy.

I'm getting nervous about the MusiCares thing. I haven't heard back since the publicist asked me to give her some more details about me and the magazine. I am obsessively checking my email and I suppose I still have until the end of the business day today until I find out, but I wish she would just get it over with, even if I can't go. I would rather just know and get on with my life, you know? Oh well. Either way, I'm still planning on going to the Camp Freddy show at the Roxy next week. Even if Jer Bear isn't there, it should be a fun show anyways. 

I will let you know if I hear anything, but it's not feeling so great right now. Booo :(

 Thanx for talkin' to the young un, You ARE as old as you feel! I'm not ashamed to say that in 6 months I'll clock in at HALF A CENTURY, and I dont feel it,( I feel 30) and, modesty aside, I don't look it!  I get a lot of them blind ones that will clock me at 36 sometimes! I think I'll make that my new age, since that's the common guess. Age wont catch you,darlin' unless you stop runnin'! AND I AM ONE QUICK CHICK!!!
