I'm a similar situation to yours...By boss is not a bitch, just a stingy *** from time to time, his wife IS a bitch instead!!!! But like you say, it pays at the end of the month and it's comfortable to know that they cant do without you...I dont know how long this will last for tho'....I'm getting a bit fed up of being around people whose first thought in life is fucking money!!!! Of course, when you are shallow, unhuman, unsensite you cnat have friends so perhaps money makes them feel better!!! Whatever....I'm not like them and I'm glad! At the end of the day, it's just a job!!! It's not like I studied to become a real estate, so fuck 'em! As long as that money allows you to do what you need to do and that the feeling of going into work is NOT unbearable it's OK! The bitch comes in only 3 times a week for a few hours, I can stand that!!!! She's not that mean either, just not human the same way I am!!!!

Nuff for me, sorry if I bored you, I didnt mean to! It just came out so naturally!!!! Oh dear Fi, I can already picture the two of us in the pub talking and talking and talking and talking....and drinking and drinking!!!

   Oh my goodness, you girls are cracking me up!

   Ok, upon request, I'll share my little ass touching story.

         I went to the Road Recovery Show in N.Y. where I met Ari and Wanda. The meet and greet was insanely crowded. I use a wheelchair and it was dangerous for me to move around. When Jerry came out, Ari and Wanda were the 1st people to approach him. Ari already shared her story, but I'll tell you that she was nice enough to ask Jerry to go over to where I was.

       As he approached me, he already signed a poster and gave it to me. We exchanged greetings and he took a picture with me. After the photo, a bunch of people came over and he turned away from me. Then, he turned back and said it was nice meeting me as he went back to the people.

       One thing I always wanted was a hug. I actually want that more than an autograph. As Jerry was mingling with the other fans, I realized I forgot to ask him for a hug. Everything happened so damn fast. So, that was "the moment." I tapped him on the butt a couple of times and on his side trying to get his attention. He didn't even notice. So, I touched him one more time! I always joke that I'm at butt level b/c of the wheelchair, so what the hell?!  Life is about compromises and opportunity. I didn't get a hug, but I touched his ass. I can live with that!
        Lynda asked what would I have done if he asked me what was i doing, I would've been honest and told him I was trying to get his attention. It was innocent, but I realize someone who is on the receiving end of my tapping might not appreciate it.

        Punky suggested that I make it my sig. Punky, don't encourage me Ha!Ha! Seriously, I think I'd be embarrassed to use it as my signature. It's bad enough I did it! I don't know if Jerry would mind.

P.S. You ladies have to forgive me, I'm bad with computers. I don't know how to include the previous posts that I'm responding to.

On another matter, I don't know if the report by the dj mentioning that our boys were working with the producers on Layne's movie was a stunt or not..it if was SOMEONE please tell me so I can call his ass and tell him off royally....this is really upsetting...on the other hand...if indeed there is a movie out there that will portray Layne in a true light and remind us of why we all fell in love with him in the first place, then ladies I'll be first online when it comes out....we just have to know from our guys whether or not we should be supporting...really..someone enlighten me....I was already and still am heartbroken (I can only imagine how the ones close to him feel) so I don't need to see some piece of crap that's going to villify him...

i'm telling you ladies some day i'll be lucky enough to maybe meet up with our man. maybe if i ever get singed i will finally be able to pull some strings to get to cross his path. then i will ask him to sing and play on my cd. and we are gonna fall madly in love and he's gonna make me his wife and we are gonna have five kids (enough to make a band of course) and have a musical little family. and live happily ever after. oh to dream. Ari, according to the recent interview with Jerry, this is what he has to say about that:

What do you think about the Get Born Again movie?

Yes.It’s fucking horseshit. The woman responsible for writing those books andmaking that movie never talked to Layne, she never met Layne, and kind ofpreyed on his mom when she was in a bad way after losing her son and that’s howthat book got made. And now they’re making this movie and I have no idea howthey’re going to make it because they can’t use us, they can’t use our music.They do not have our permission to do that, nor [do they have the persmissionof] Layne’s family’s as well. It’s really sad because I’m sure they’ll focus onall the bad stuff and there was a whole lot more to Layne than that.Unfortunately, we all know the story of how he died and nobody knows thatdeeper than us and his family. There was so much more to him than that and ifsomething ever got made, it would be nice if maybe the people that knew him mostwere involved. It would probably be a better quality production, I guess.That’s all I have to say about that.

....my experience with djs is that they will say just about anything to rile up a response & maybe one out of 10 actually have enough of a connection to get correct info outta anyone.....and then it still never quite makes it on air the way the info was given to them in the first place.....but they are fun to call & bitch at

      It's FINALLY a sunny day in NY. I was beginning to think I lived in England.

         You know, I was wondering, since we all love Jerry, do you think he would become a polygamist? This way, we all could marry him and be happy. I think we'd have to live in Utah, but I could handle that.
          The TMZ/ Jesus link is funny. Yes, Jerry is god!  I remember when Nickelback became big, the press kept making fun of Chad for looking like Jesus.
