i've actually seen this thread for a while. but i am so phobic of this i can't even talk about it. to be honest. i start to get anxiety and visions. ok yes, i'm f'd up. hahaha. but i've been afraid since a child dont' know why. and have had panic attacks over it as well. it really does suck to have a phobia. it makes u go to the brink of insanity when you come across it. ok see i i'm already getting wigged out. maybe some day when i'm strong enough i can tell what it is. but right now gotta go. peace..

In all seriousness, you probably do not want to share that in a public forum. There are some people here that may be good friends but there are others that probably would not respect the nature/seriousness of the issue, make light of it, and bring it up when they disagree with one of your posts or something. Use the PM system and share that information in confidence with your buddies only if so inclined. Just watching your back sister, rock on.

My phobia is unusual.  I freak with patterns, like:  Cracks in dry mud, wormholes, more than one anthill in a close proximity... noodles all going in one direction.. the lines underneath mushrooms (although I love eating mushrooms)... particular patterns.  Oh yeah... spiders... all these make me break in hives (if I stare at them too long) and I get this morbid fascination with staring at the stuff, but on the inside I'm cringing! Weird, huh?

Jerrysfavgirl: I think the pattern obsession is probably the most bizarre thing I've ever heard.

I'm kinda like that too, except only with really large bodies of water. I'm fine with the pool and all, but I stay the hell away from the beach.
