Ok just want to throw out a suggestion I thought of. nothing perverted this time. I know the guys can't post on here. But i was wondering if there was a way to let us know that they had at least seen the board or where on the board. or even visited a thread. maybe have an icon on the begiining page of a thread that shows they had been there. i'm not saying to let us know when exactly they are there but after the fact. to let us know they have read teh posts. and each member would have a certain icon so we know which one it is.   I know all the AIC fans on here would love to know that the guys are actually seeing our posts. I understand they can't post on here for safety reasons for themselves. but how bout at least letting the fans know they are on here with us somehow? maybe you can make it so easy for them as they can just click something after they have read and it pm's a mod to let them know the thread and the time and date or something. i think if an AIC fan could ask for something for christmas from the AIC board. that would be it.

....William use to read here in the beginning of his days with Alice.....then he stopped coming, because back then, it was pretty ugly for him to read.....

 

However, sometimes I will mention something about here (recent) & he will know what I'm talking about.....but his theory on posting on his own board is that if he doesn't have anything (interesting) to say, he won't post....I can't seem to convince him that anything he says is worth hearing......

I am all ears, dear William. . . . .

There are posts on here that question just about everything these men have done.  Being supportive enough to their fallen brother, grieving him properly and for long enough, continuing to make a living playing music they created, and even using drugs as a diet aid. . . . . . Granted, there are far more positive posts, but still--Why would they want to spend a lot of time on here??

 I am hoping that sometime soon we will get a letter posted from one of them on the home page.   I understand that it is hard to give so much love out and seemingly get nothing back.  The eye contact, smiles, and guitar pick I got at my shows will sustain me for a life time.

I honestly think that haters are not true fans...A true fan is someone who sticks with his/her band no matter what and shows undying support through thick and thin!

So forget the ulgy and focus on some of the beautiful things we have to say....my philosophy of life is that not everyone will love you or appreciate you for who and what you are, to those people I say "FUCK YOU", I don't need you anyway...lol..got me through a lot of shitty time...People don't always understand or appreciate me cause I'm a black girl who does not act "black"...I've always wondered what that entailed!!!..lol..to those I've always said FU and will continue for as long as I live!

So cheer up and feel ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the love I and many others have for you guys!!!

Dave Grohl and the other members of Foo Fighters posted on their board quite a bit back when I used to hang out there (then they went all poppy )  Rex, Jimmy and Kirk posted on Down's board whilst they were making "Over The Under"...

Even if the threads get locked immediately so they don't get a barrage of questions and demands or inappropriate offers , we'd love to see an update or two from them when they hit the studio.  I don't about anyone else, but I'm seriously excited about the new stuff they're working on and would love to know what they're up to.  5 minutes every now and then isn't too much to ask is it?

He still never believes any of that......altho he's pretty good about the Myspace page, which he only handles/answers himself......once he catches up on his sleep, and gets back to normal (post show/touring) I'm gonna try to convince him to pop onto the CWTF board

Great Idea!  I think that since this is such a great site with so many cool and creative people ( and a few bozos) that the guys should take pride in all of the hard work that the moderators do and the absolute dedication that the fans who post here have.  I've been to many different bands sites/boards and though some may have a slick look and some cool features, none have the continuing comradere that we have here.  It just goes to show that not only is AIC the greatest band but they have the coolest fans.  If the icon idea doesn't fly how about a letter once in a while just to say chello or throw us a tasetey new riff once in a while
